We are excited to announce that localization is coming soon to Nintex Process Manager! This means we will start supporting multiple languages, beginning with German, French, and Spanish.

What is Localization?

With the release of “localization” for Process Manager, we will officially start supporting languages other than English for the Process Manager user experience. These localization efforts will not only help existing customers find it easier to get work done in Process Manager but will also enable us to introduce additional language support rapidly in the future based on customer demand.

The initial localization work will cover the UI elements created and managed by Nintex. This does not include user-generated process content itself, but process content level translation is something we are looking to support in the future; this can be facilitated through process variations today.

How to Enable Localization

Regardless of the site’s default language, users will be able to change their profile language to either German, French, or Spanish without impacting other users on the site. Users can enable their preferred language by following these steps:

  • Navigate to My Profile

  • Under “Change My Language,” check the “Manually Set Language” checkbox

  • In the dropdown, select your preferred language

Once a language has been selected the changes will apply to the UI immediately.

How Will It Be Released?

Initially, our Localization feature will follow a phased rollout, beginning with the core functionalities you use daily. This phased approach will ensure that we can address any identified bugs or translation issues as quickly as possible, while building towards a fully localized experience for all users. The localization capability will be introduced regionally, starting with Northern Europe, Canada, and the US.

Here is what to expect in the phased rollout:

Phase 1: Launch of core Process Management areas localized for initial regions.

Phase 2: Introduction of localized administrative sections and API updates, set for later this calendar year.

Phase 3: Ongoing expansion for add-on modules and on-going new feature releases. This phased approach ensures a smooth rollout and allows us to refine our efforts based on your input. We are committed to making this process seamless for you and appreciate your patience as we work to enhance your experience.

When Will Additional Languages Be Introduced?

Currently, our focus will remain on French, German, and Spanish. However, we will evaluate the need for additional languages based on market demand.
