If you encountered issues with fail/stuck Jenkins job, during VM deployment/start/termination and etc.

Follow next steps (Deploy VM example):

Find your own run:

  1. Click on build number (see: Jenkins1)
  2. Browse to Parameters: (see: Jenkins2)
  3. Here you may find all the information about parameters that triggered the job: (see: Jenkins3)
  4. Browse to Console Output for logs: ((see: Jenkins4)

  1. In the logs you have several milestones:

                                                             i.     VM creation (not in Domain): (see: Jenkins5)

ii.     Add VM to DNS: (see: Jenkins6)

iii.     Prerequisites tool installations: (see: Jenkins7)

                                                          iv.     Chrome installation: (see: Jenkins8)

                                                            v.     .Net Framework installation: (see: Jenkins9)

vi.     Send email with VM details: (see: Jenkins10)

NOTE:

If VM created all other milestones can be performed manually, please take VM IP and continue the installations and configuration.

And in parallel please send email with to DevOps pdl:

  1. Build #
  2. Failure step in logs
  3. Failure error in logs
