Hello Everyone,

Lyubomir from the Kryon Support Team here, we would like to point out that recently we have received multiple queries in regards with Seq and how there are memory usage spikes.

Here is how we were able to remedy this issue:

1. C:Installation FolderSeqDataSeq.json you should find:

{

 "cache": {

   "systemRamTarget": 0.9

 },

2. Changing the 0.9 to lets say, 0.2 or 0.3 will cause Seq to start dropping cache as soon as overall utilization on the machine passes 20 or 30%.

3. You'll need to restart the Seq Windows service to pick up the change.

Hope that this will prevent any inconveniences in the future.

Best regards,

Lyubomir and the whole CS Team
