Resignning the task doesnot substitute the variable value

I have a vaiables set with some values and are used in task form notification. when a request is raised the task form notification is finw with all variables substituted with th values, but iif the task form is reassigned the variable are not substituted with the values, but shows like this.

Any idea why it happens?
