In a discussion with a Nintex Reseller the other day a suggestion was made that the Action History could be removed from all workflow histories. I asked, somewhat surprised, if there was an NWAdmin command that does that and he answered that there wasn’t which only elevated my suspicion.

Are you familiar with this practice? I’d like to not even have that information recorded to begin with but if it could be removed after an error free completion. Any posh scripts that do this work?

Thanks

Hi,

In all my years with Nintex I have never heard of such script that can purge part of a workflow instance history.

You can hide action history from the start though.
Navigate to each actions common tab and hide it.

It sounded off to me and wouldnt have addressed our concerns. The steps you show there would turn all history off for the workflow if Im not mistaken.

Yes, any action with this option ticked will not appear in the history.  Unfortunately it is all or nothing.
