i have a form with 3 sections and a dropdown menu

1st section - initiator.

- must have no access to edit 2nd and 3rd section.

- can only edit and add details on 1st section.

-when the user selected 'send' on dropdown menu, assignee will receive an email saying that he/she will have access to edit the 2nd section.

Hello @Coco_servino1

In my opinion, to achieve this where only one specific individual at a time can edit details on a form, I would configure this in the rules. So for example, you have 3 Tasks:

  • Initiator

  • Receiver

  • Last Person

so I would got to the workflow and edit the rule that allows only a certain view to be editable in a specific task mode such as Receiver Task, while the other two views would be read only.

I hope this helps you
