Hi

During testing, one of my users has noticed that emails seem to have an token suffix in the title (subject line). Is this required for Lazy Approval or some other system requirement?

Assign Tast shows Token.png

Assign Task settings Current Item Title.png

Other than removing  {Current Item:Title} from the title is there anything we can do about this that won't impact the functionality of the workflow?

Daniel

If you disable Lazy Approval, than the token won't shown anymore. But the user can't react to the Task just by replaying to the mail with [approved|rejected]

But this relays only on usability, not to the workflow functionality

Thanks for your reply this is the conclusion we came to as well.  On a similar thread my client thinks the following  terse text, at the end of the generated assign task email should be changed.

"This task has been assigned to you. Reply with one of the following phrases on a line by itself at the top of your email: "

Hence, as their humble SharePoint consultant this is what I have been asked to do.  happy to write JavaScript/PowerShell or edit a settings file as required, since this must be stored somewhere?
