Easiest Way to make an editable list read only?

Hello,

we have an editable list view. When the workflow is running (== when the status is not "created" anymore) the list view should not be editable anymore.

I noticed that I can't change the modus during runtime with rules, so I "disabled" the view in the form.

But the display of a disabled view is very bad (too less contrast for the items that are middle grey on light grey...)

Is there an easy way to make the list "read only"?

regards,

Johann

I commited an Idea because it did not find the feature request...

I made a (bad?) workaround:

cloning the editable view

make it not editable

place both on the form

and show either the first or the last

Based on your status, you can disable/hide the toolbar buttons and the double click rule. That way your view will be readonly.
