Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding K2 Five apps. I have created an application using the K2 Five app wizard. The runtime URLs for this app seem to be automatically generated, and I was wondering if there is a way to change these so a more user-friendly URL of my choosing.

Thanks!

We are using URL rewrite in the IIS to accomplish this on K2 applications so they get urls like https://myapp.k2.mycompany.com or https://mycompany.com/myform instead of https://k2.mycompany.com/runtime/runtime/forms/my+form+test, not specifically appwizard apps. But I had a look on the names of the generated forms and it should work the same way we do it. Do you want more information about that?

But there isn't any setting to change the url of an appwizard to a more friendly one.

Regards

Daniel

This app was made with the wizard and involves no code so it was not not deployed on IIS, so I guess it seems as though there is no way to change the runtime URL sadly

All the smartforms created with K2 are located in the IIS even those generated with AppWizards. But you need to have permissions to the IIS on the K2-server and some technical knowledge to be able to do this.

Good day  @phdaloia;

Just to add on what  @DanielKarlsson  said, I advice you to dive into this formal documention as refferenced(https://help.k2.com/kb002560) and (https://help.k2.com/support-services/kbt138695), should you need hands on assistance or physical help/professional_advices with regard to the  application of url redirect IIS, kindly reach out to the local services here(https://portal.k2.com/ticket/rsrequest )

Additionally for permissions required for accesss and modification in the iis, :-K2 Web Service Account
