Can a K2 Five Task have an action that updates instead of completes the task?

Forum|alt.badge.img+8

Greetings,

In 4.7, a task could be actioned without finishing the task.. essentially registering an update and hold in place.

Is this possible in K2 Five workflows? I don't really want to leave the task and loop back around on it because that will regenerate and send a new task email message. BUT .. I want to have the user indicate that they've done something so that the escalation clock gets reset.

Leading me to my second question

I think I have to do the escalation reset through a stacked multi-step on the task to change a variable for the date to escalate on... but if I'm wrong here, let me know ... the question is.. if the task action option to not complete is there... does the processessing go down the multi-step to do that variable adjustment then back to the task? Or does it just hold on the task?
