Issue Description
When you have a file or image type SmartObject property as the first property of a SmartObject and it is dropped into a textbox on the Configuration Panel, JavaScript errors occur and you are unable to continue.
Error Message:
The following JavaScript errors occur:
Error 1: “TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'type')”
Error 2: “TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'systemName') - there will be multiples of this one. You will have to close your browsers otherwise it will eat memory.”
Resolution
The fix is available in:
- Nintex Automation (5.7) Fix Pack 05.
- Ensure you have the correct K2 version and/or Cumulative update installed. See KB001893 to see what Fix Pack level you have installed.
- Download the latest Fix Pack using the links in the table above for the version you require.
- Install the Fix Pack to apply the fix.
- It is recommended to clear browser cache and refresh the page.
