Issue Description
When you have a Mail Event with an attachment, it fails to send, the Workflow goes into an error state and an error occurs from Microsoft Exchange Web Services.
Error Message:
The following Microsoft Exchange Web Services error occurs:
“The operation can't be performed because the item is out of date. Reload the item and try again.”
Resolution
The fix is available in:
- K2 Five (5.6) Fix Pack 39.
- Nintex Automation (5.7) Fix Pack 13.
- Ensure you have the correct K2 version and/or Cumulative update installed. See KB001893 to see what Fix Pack level you have installed.
- Download the latest Fix Pack using the links in the table above for the version you require.
- Install the Fix Pack to apply the fix.
- It is recommended to clear browser cache and refresh the page.
Considerations:
After installing this fix pack, the following needs to be completed for the fix to take effect:
- Open the ConnectionStringEditor.exe located in dInstall folder]\Host Server\Bin\
- Change the SaveEmail value for SourceCode.MessageBus.EwsExchangeWebservicesDestinaiton (form address) to true.
- Save the connection string.
- Restart the server.
