Introduction

Tables in Nintex is a centralized and scalable data platform built and designed for Automation; it seamlessly integrates into the Nintex Automation Cloud platform, allowing you to store and manage your process-related data. Workflow designers can create dynamic structures for the storage and management of data to be utilized to facilitate the design process across both Workflows and Forms. A Table can also help you reduce your reliance on external applications to store and manage data; instead, a Table can be created, and data can be safely and securely managed.

The following video will take you through using Tables in your Workflows.

A very nice feature, @SimonMuntz :

What about simultaneous access and action “Update rows”?

I mean, several people can update SharePoint-Online list items where a NAC-Workflow is attached at the same time.

If the Workflow update rows of a table based on conditions, this will be a problem, isn’t it?

And I am missing the action to clear a table.

Can you please bring some light on that? - Thx, Ronny

Hi @RonLevy

Regarding simultaneous access to rows:

If users edit the same record at the same time within any given table, then the outcome is that the last user who edits the record would have their changes saved, similar to other data platforms.  It is important to note that bulk updates are done in a single call (similar to a SQL update statement) based on the specified criteria.

Regarding clearing data:

This workflow action would become available within the next few weeks.

HTH.

@rickdemarco Are we going to be able to sort tables against custom columns at some point? We are now limited to using tables now for single choice etc. on forms...with the few tables we have created for purposes of quicker loading.
