I’m using Nintex Workflow Automation Cloud and I was surprised that workflows continue to run on deleted list items from Sharepoint Online. Even approvers are still getting assigned tasks. Of course when they click the link to go to the completed form, they get a “no item exists” message.
Is this normal? Shouldn’t the workflow stop running if the item it’s running off of has been deleted?
It’s a pain to go into the “instances” and try to track down the specific one to terminate and a nuisance to the business users.
Any suggestions on a better/easier way to manage this?
