How can I allow users to see active tasks, or tasks status in SharePoint Online? as an alternative, is there a license need for user to see tasks on the Tasks section of Nintex Automation Cloud?

The participant role in NAC allows users access to the My Nintex page.  The My Nintex page has option to view your assigned tasks, view form submissions, and submit forms.  You can find more about the participant role here: https://help.nintex.com/en-US/nwc/Content/Settings/UserManagement.htm#Permissions

You can either add the users manually or, if SSO is setup, you can have your users login and they’ll automatically be granted participant rights to view the My Nintex Page.
