Use workflow to move a file - but not in Sharepoint

Me, again.

Looking around, I see plenty of references to doing this in Sharepoint, but we don't have K2 integrated with Sharepoint.

I'd love to be able to use workflow to move a file from one network location folder to another.

So, for example, if a file gets dropped into Folder A, as part of the workflow I'd like it to be moved to Folder B.

It seems as though this should be possible ... but I'm not imagining how to do it.

Thoughts on the hypothetical?

If code was written to handle the movement of the file the workflow could activate the code that handles the file management.  There is not built in feature in K2, but I did find the following inforamtion that might be useful:

This is a community project and has limited support but it might help point your efforts in the right direction.

That looks very promising.  I'll give it some thought!  Thanks for your help.
