We will likely need more details from your Installer Trace log to determine why that service is not starting up.
You can also check ‘C:\Program Files\K2\SourceCode.Configuration.Api\Logs’ when trying to start the service to see if there is more log details as to why it is not starting.
If the K2 service account’s password has special characters, it may not be able to set it on the created K2 Configuration Service correctly and so cannot start it up.
I would avoid the following special characters in the password:
"
'
<
>
;
&
You can try editing the K2 Configuration Service and re-entering the password manually to see if it can start up. If it works after reentering the password manually, you may need to update the service account’s password removing these special characters and reconfigure K2.
