I'm having the same issue, did you ever find a resolution?
We ran into this same issue today and with some experimentation, found a workaround to force a hard line break (the kind you can normally get in Word by hitting enter) instead of a soft line break (the kind you can get in Word by hitting Shift+Enter). When there is a hard line break at the end of a paragraph, and the text in your template is justified, then the final line of the paragraph won’t be justified.
- Go to the Snippet Group and click New to create a new Snippet (you have to do it through this method, instead of creating a Snippet from the Snippet object).
- Choose the “numbered list” or “bulleted list” format and type some placeholder text.
- Hover over the numbered list and you will see a red line appear with a “insert paragraph here”.
- Click the “insert paragraph here” ABOVE your numbered list.
- Click in the newly created space above the numbered list, and type whatever it is you want to type. This paragraph will automatically get a hard line break instead of a soft line break.
- Delete the numbered list with placeholder text. The hard line break will remain at the end of the paragraph preceding the list.
This may still take some work, depending on how many paragraphs you have in the snippet - once you have inserted a paragraph above a list, you can’t do it again without adding another placeholder list first.
I hope that helps someone else!
@Brent_Doc, do you have any tricks up your sleeves for what is called out here?
