How to Create and Replicate using the Hierarchy Relationship feature
Instructions
The Hierarchy Relationship requires the following Data Structure Setup:
1. All Child records have a Lookup Field linking them to the overall Main Parent/Master Record
2. Each record has a lookup to its individual Parent Record.
For the example below using Account, there are two fields:
1. HierarchyMaster Field - a custom Lookup to the Account Object - All linking to the overall Main Parent/Master Record.
2. Parentid Field - Salesforce Standard Field - All linking to their Individual Parent.
