Consent Required error when sending to DocuSign

The following error occurs when sending to the DocuSign Delivery option:

An error has occurred. Error while requesting server, received a non successful HTTP code with response Body: {"error":"consent_required"}

This error occurs when:

Individual Consent

  • Ensure the DocuSign Username (dsfs__DSProSFUsername__c or dfsle__Username__c)  on the Salesforce User Detail Page matches the desired DocuSign User ID in the linked DocuSign account and that the user has completed the DocuSign Individual Consent process.

Admin Consent

  1. An Email Domain has not been claimed for the linked DocuSign Account
  2. The DocuSign Username of the  OAuth - Admin Consent Integration for DocuSign on the Nintex Admin Tab does not have the same Email Domain as the one claimed by the DocuSign Account.


Instructions

  1. Claim a Domain with DocuSign for your Account: How to Claim a Domain
  2. Recreate the DocuSign Integration with a user with the claimed email domain as the linked DocuSign Account
