Expand icon for linked processes in Map view is missing for normal users

Problem

Normal users cannot see the Expand icon to expand the linked processes further in the Map view of a process.

Solution

The Expand icon is not visible for normal users because the setting Enable process to merge for normal users is set to OFF under Admin > Configure > Viewing Options. What this setting does: 

Linked processes can be expanded with the Process Map. This provides users with an integrated view of the complete process flow. Promasters and Business Analysts have default access to this feature.

This option allows this feature to be made available to normal users.
