Accessible forms and best practice for usability.

Jump to solution

I'm using Nintex on a  client's system and it seems somewhat painful to create accessible forms (I realise that some of this will be related to the underlying sharepoint. In particular I'd like to use fieldsets for grouping controls (e.g. radio buttons with a stem question) and improve the experience for screenreader and keyboard users. We have created some hacks that have improved matters but they are time consuming to create. Are there any resources around ensuring WCAG 2.0 compliance?Accessible

Hi Kevin,

The resource you're looking for would be very interesting and I hope someone may refer a few.

While waiting and for the specific point of fieldsets, did you ever notice that panels can be converted as fieldsets?

You just have to set the "Title" of the panel and it will be converted.

Hope this helps
