Custom Service Broker file parameter.

How do I check the AD property 'msExchHomeServerName' on a user in a workflow?

I need to check the AD User property 'msExchHomeServerName' on a user during a workflow and return $true if the property has a value and $false if it does not. Does anyone have any idea how I can do this?

Can you populate a list view from a smartbox object and create the rows in a loop without selecting?

I am transferring data to a list view one at a time, and allowing a button to select several rows to add. When I add one at a time, when the submit button on the form is selected, this works as intended.When I add all students to a list, and then submit, it does not work.  I have a work around of highlighting 1 row within the list view and then it works. What can I add within the add all students to make this work without highlighting? I am attaching screen shots of rules.

cannot open a k2 smartform when uploading a file to sharepoint online document libraries

I am using SharePoint online and I have a K2 5 form that should open once a file has been uploaded to a sharepoint document library. I have set the setting that the K2 form should open when clicking the new button, unfortunately that is not happening at all. In SharePoint 2013 this worked great but does not seem to be working correctly in SharePoint Online. has anyone found this problem and has found a workaround for it?

Display value in ListView for each row

I query K2's "Activity Instance Destination" object to get audit trail of a process. I want to make a call to AD service to get a display name for each user who has actioned the request. I am using a service that needs username without domain name so in an expression I am stripping out K2:DomainName and passing value to AD service to get username. Call to the service works OK as I can display value in a message box.  How do I get that value to display in listview ? I have tried building a separate listview with transfer data action but second view does not display any data. Is there a way to display data in either list view for approver name field.  Thank You

Activity Instance List - Finish Date 1/1/1990

We have a List view using the Method for Workflow Reporting Service (List) : List Activity Instance Destinations and the Finish Date shows 1/1/1900.  When I go into the view and attempt to create an expression to replace the 1/1/1900 to a null value the field is locked out and says I can't use it because of circular references. Is there a way to make that show as null if it hasn't been updated ?

K2 Five Workflow Loop through Specified date

I have a requirement to Loop through Specified dates for processing leave request application. For eg. Date1: 10/4/2018 ; Date2: 10/7/2018, Totally 4 days will come inbetween two dates, I need to check each date whether it falls under a weekend or in a corporate holiday. So by looping each day we can check whether it falls on a corporate holiday or weekend.In K2 loop only list reference or semicolon separated values can be provided.Is there any way to achieve it.

Unresolved Reference Errors on Package and Deploy

I am trying to promte a solution fom a Dev to a Test envronment. In Dev, I have a workflow that has a bunch of steps but there is one smartobject action that is throwing an error. This is a SmartObject that is making a REST call based on a Swagger file I registered within my K2 instance. The red "!" mark shows up in the top right hand corner of the Smartobject action but  I can still deploy the process. When I package and deploy the solution to Test, I get a bunch of unresolved reference errors. Has anyone experienced this before? If so, what was your solution. I saw this hotfix, but now sure if that is the fix: https://help.k2.com/kb002480

I created a new AD SmartObject, I added additional AD fields to it.  How do I get those fields to show up on the Input and Return Property screen for the GetUsers method?

Picker Control expand arrow not opening

I have a picker control that appears after a user selects a specific answer from a radio button control that takes awhile to load and when it does the expand arrow does not appear to work.  It will populate the control with the values from the SmartObject but when trying to expand the control it won't work. Any suggestions? Using K2 5.1 on prem.

Method using Workflow Reporting Process Instance Errors

We have a SmartObject Method that is joining one SmartObject with the Process Instance : List Process Instances - Workflow Reporting in order to display a view showing workflow status / process status. The view is consistently erroring out with a message of 'Process Instance' table does not exist.Does anybody have any suggestions or different options for us to connect to?  My K2 Admin has to restart the K2 Service for it to function again. K2 5.1

Debug REST SmartObject

I have registered a REST Service Instance and have set Debugging Enbled to "true". I want to know how do I actually debug the smartobject that's attached to this Service Instance? I looked at the logs in K2Host ServerBin but did not see anything. Am I missing something or doing something wrong?

Invalid URI: The hostname could not be parsed.

After starting a Workflow through the "Start a Workflow" rule in Designer I can successfully kick off a simple Workflow to send out an email. Once I add a Task and assign it to a Recipent found using the browse option and redeploy. The process errors and give me the little information. I also can't view the "View Flow" which I currently have permissions to view. (Which is upsetting and confusing as to why). I feel as though some configurations may be off, but I can't be sure. Another thing I see often is when editing a Workflow its somehow gets checked out by the k2web.svc rather then myself. Which I then need to update the values in the DB to again get access. Suggestions

REST - Swagger with Parameter??

If I have a Swagger file, that has a URI parameter, how do I add that parameter to the SmartObject? By Default, the SmartObject only allows me to enter values for the input fields and the parameter field is not included. Is this standard behavior or should the parameter be showing as a field in the smartobject?

Hi We have SharePoint 2016 with K2 Five configured. I've configured a workflow for a document library. When i upload a document and check the drop down items for that document i dont see K2 Workflow option.

List item with ID 1 not found in Environment Fields

I have deployed a package from our dev environment to our deployment invironment and I'm getting this error: "List item with ID 1 not found in Environment Fields." when running the form.I have been directed to a K2 article  article2 that explanes the user rights on the list that is used. On the list that i use the option "All Items or alle users"has been enabled.Anyone have some pointers where to fix this?How can I debug this?

Impersonate Another User to Action a Task On Button Click

Is there a way to action a worklist item as a service account via a button click on a form even  if that service account is added as a recipient to a task but the person clicking the button is not? For example, I have a button on a form that someone can click who isn't assigned to the task that that button is actioning. I do a search for the task serial number specific to the service account who is assigned the task. The logic works like a charm. However, when the button is clicked by an end user and the workflist action is taken, K2 is saying that the current user (who is not the service account) does not have the rights to action the task. I want to know how can I get around this error? Is there a way to impersonate my service account or the button click, or the action a worklist item rule so that the task can be actioned by the service account and not the end user?

HelloI have question I try to install K2 Five on UAT Server for Test , I would like Deploy Worklfow , SMO, View ,Form from Dev server that Version 4.7 to K2 FiveHow to tranfer? I can't Deploy Packgage form 4.7 to 5.1 Please Advise me Thank you

Setting Dynamic task recipient

Hi All I'm struggling to do something in K2 five around smartobjects (something I could do easily in Blackpearl) If I wanted to return data from a smartobject I could select a method and then I was presented with Input Mapping options so I could filter my results as required (see screenshot below)thanksPaul

AD User SmartObject (Password)

Hi all, we are working on a project, we support some information such as name and password to enter the application that we made. we found that there was an SMO called AD users who seemed to have some information such as countries, name, email but did not have a password. is there a way to get a pre-existing password that we use to log in to k2 designer? Thanks in advance
