Textbox control removes comma

Hi all,  I have a textbox control with the following configuration: Datatype:DecimalStyle: Language English (US)   Does anybody know a solution for this issue?. Thank in advance.

send emails to employees depending on team

I have a request from some employees that want an informational email to go out to specific employees depending on which team they're on. I currently have a field in my database set up that sets the "Team 1 member" flag to either true or false depending on certain criteria. My problem is team 1 only has 1 member, so I can get the email to go to this person just find. My problem is with team 2 that has multiple members. I need to be able to send an email to all members of this team. How can I set K2 up to send emails to multiple employees based off of information in the table?

Close Sharepoint dialog on saving/close

I have a list in Sharepoint 2013 The from for new items or edit items open in a dialog After clicking Save/Cancel the dialog doesn't close, I am only get a successfully-message.What can I do to close the dialog automatically?

Error When Opening SmartObject OData or Workflow REST Pages in K2 Management

In K2 Management , I get an error when I try to open these pages: APIS--> SmartObject OData--> Workflow REST The error says, "SmartObject property Name is a required property for selected method Load. Value must be set". I have no idea of how to fix this. Thoughts?

Completely remove smartstarter application?

Brand new instance of K2 Five (5.2),I was testing the smartstarter applications a bit just to see how much modification they would require to apply to my environment. I installed the "Change Management" SmartStarter, and the "IT Asset Request" smartstarter. I then tried to delete them (through the workspace, same place where I installed them), and it removed them from the Apps list, however in designer, all of the components are still there, the smartobjects, the forms, the views, the workflows, they are all there. On top of that if I try to re-add the apps from the catalog, it tells me they are installed. Is there any way to fully remove the apps? I don't want to manually delete all the components. They seem to be in deep folder structures and I thought removing them would delete the components. I have attached some screenshots in case they help. Thank you

Multi-Select Reset

I have a multi-select field that is populated with values from a DB table.  The user fills in the multi-select and upon clicking Next on the form, saves those values in a semi-colon delimited field in another DB table for the request.  It also creates a row in a 3rd table to keep track of additional details for each of those selected values on the next screen.   Here is my problem.  If the user goes back, I want the view to show a confirmation message to the user telling them it is going to clear any of their details.  This works great on a change event (although was a little tricky to implement with the Initialize firing the "change") and works if the user clicks "OK".  If, however, the user clicks "Cancel" on the confirmation box, it doesn't fire the clear event but it still moves the value they selected to the wrong side (so now the values are out of sync with the details table).  How do I make it so the Cancel of the confirmation resets the multi-select back to the original values

Parameterize a Workflow Email Body

Hi just want to ask a few question In K2 Five i already know that is a ootb function to send email using task notification and you can customize the body and etc. But there is a problem, can i customize the body without deploying the workflow to change it. For example are there any smartform / smartobject that can change the body so it can be parameterize. Or there are any other way to change the body. Because K2 Documentation that i read (https://help.k2.com/onlinehelp/k2five/userguide/5.1/default.htm#K2-Workflow-Designer/Use/Toolbox/Basic/SendEmail/Send-Email.htm) just point out that you need to change the body in the workflow.  Thanks

Validating a control for multiple values to initiate a rule

I have a control that contains multiple values, i.e. AV, Shades..., based on the content a rule either hides or shows other controls based. Is there a way to check for two or more values without having to re-write the rules for each value?

Picker Control and Multiple values with SQL

Hi all, Trying to allow a user to filter a data set by using a picker control to select one or more values from a specific column.  User enters search parameters, then click a "Get results" button which displays the results in a SMO List view (non-editable).  The SmartObject being searched is a table from a SQL server database. When I only allow one value in the picker it works just fine, and behaves as expected.  However, I can't seem to get the "multiple values" function to work, and have tried various setting combinations as well as added the   <add key="Forms.Controls.Picker.SetValueUseContains" value="true" /> to the web.config file for design/runtime.   Goal is to have SQL return results for records where parameter = X OR parameter = Y (OR Z, OR...) Anyone have ideas on if there is something I'm missing or should try?

K2 Worklist Stored Procedure?

Does anyone know the stored procedure for the K2 Worklist? I'd like to see how the workflow is populated when tasks are assigned to roles. The reason I am trying to do this is because I have my own store precedure to join tasks from the existing K2 Worklist plus another SmartOnject that I have. This works great but only when I specificallly create tasks and click the checkbox for, "Resolve groups to individuals". When the aformentioned checkbox is clicked, then K2 creates individual tasks for each user when I can use in my custom stored procedure to join a users task together with info from another SmartObject. However, when I uncheck the checkbox mentioned above, then those same tasks are not created in the same way so I'm not sure how get the task if individual tasks aren't being created anymore. Hope this makes sense.

Can I get help on editing a list so that we do not allow duplicates to be entered

 I have a list of students returned in a smartobject. On the form, a person selects to add a student, and we present the smartobject list to choose from. People are selecting the same student multiple times; which gets confusing. Is there a way to save what items have been entered, and when a new selection is made, we can do a compare of the choice to what has already been entered and not allow the duplicate entry? Seems like I should be able to build an expression to keep a text string of what is entered, but I have been unable to find an example, or enough documentation to be helpful. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! BillK

SharePoint Attachment View - Help with adding items to a new list item

I am attempting to add attachments to a new item form attached to a SharePoint list. I added the "Add Attachments" view onto the form and am trying to adjust the rules to allow the attachments to be associated with the new list item that is being created. How do I get the attachments to save to the new form without knowing what the ID is for the new item?  I attempted to get the id from the configure outgoing settings and write it to a property and then see what it is collecting the the set the properties of ID Content control. Everything I attempt to collect and write to the ID Content control is empty. Thanks for any help. Ben

Send mail step of a workflow - can you change the icon for the from field

I have a user that wants to change the default person icon in the from field to a specific graphic.  The email address being used is not an exchange mailbox.  Is there a way to change the icon?  I have looked and looked. I cannot find an answer to this.

How to modify Apps > Framework items

Hi, I would like to modify Apps > Frameworks items, for example, to replace K2 logo with Customer Company logo avoiding to replace the header in each form of each application (many forms each application). For example, I would like to modify the following header: com.K2.App.Framework.Core.ItemView.FormHeaderFullbut not possible and no related to security of course. ThanksDaniele

Hyperlink color on List View

Does anybody have suggestions on how to change the hyperlink color on a list view?  We created a custom form template but that didn't work.   I'm thinking that particular view has different css to change but I'm not sure where. Thank you in advance.

Hi.I'm creating a workflow in K2 to create a Purchase Request. the last step in the workflow will actually call a REST Web Api by posting one JSON parameter that contains all values, inlcuding the header and the list of details of the Purchase Request.To simplify it:the Json has three parameters: ID, Date, Items[].and each Item has two parameters: Id, Quantity I have a Form that contains:a Header View that includes the ID, the Date.... a list view that includes the Items required, each item contains the ID, the quantity... a Create ButtonThe Create button is supposed to call the web service and post the serialized values of the header and the list of items as well. the only thing I need is how to serialize the whole list of items? what I did is some rules on the button click:on the list: Serialize the list Item to Array by doing the requierd mapping on the list: Save the output mapping to a data label 1 on the header: Serialize the header by doing the required mapping and mapping the d
