What are the Form userProfileLookup function's supported attributes?

Does any one know, have a list of the various attributes/arguments that the userProfileLookup can return?I am using this in a Calculated Value field but appears to be limited to certain values. I cannot pull phone number. I have used 'WorkPhone', telephoneNumber', 'Phone', etc.  I can see my phone number in my Profile under Direct Dial.  However using 'DirectDial' does not return anything either.  I was hoping to learn what this function actually does support or if another factor is causing me to get no value.  I can get name, job title, email and office only phone number is an issue.

O365 workflow Copy item error

Copy item workflow Action workflow suspended getting error  400: BadRequest: The user does not exist or is not unique. (Correlation Id: c91465c2-0afd-433e-a0ac-d7595e5c4246). WorkflowInstanceId : 14271b68-0230-4633-b6a1-bd517f238969 list having 6 People and group fields all the user in the item active user only

Removing Duplicate Calendar Entries on a workflow when updating the item in a list (On Prem)

I am hoping someone can help me. I have searched and searched but all the answers I find relate to older version of SharePoint and Nintex.  I currently have a list set up that has a workflow that takes the item that's entered and puts it on a calendar. My issue is whenever we do a modify from the list, instead of updating the entry on the calendar, it creates a new calendar event. When I try to use the suggestions from the posts from older version, I don't have access to the options that are listed. I have also tried assigning an item ID to the entries using GUID and Integer (separately, not at the same time), but when I do this, the number is the same on all entries.  The original workflow is pretty simple, but attaching pictures for reference.

Slow loading for SPO List lookup dropdowns

Hi Everyone, I'm having issues with my cascading Nintex dropdowns that load from a SharePoint List.  It gets stuck on loading and sometimes takes up to 5 mins to load.   It's happening differently for different users.  Has anyone had this issue? Thanks,John

Need help on how to design a Form/Workflow to add/view documents

Hello,I have a scenario that I am not sure how to handle.I am using Nintex 365 New Responsive forms/workflow to replace a legacy form.  I have a list where each item has 11 elements.  Let’s call the columns Element A, Element B … Element K. The user should be able to add/attach one large (i.e. > 1 mg) document for each element, so there will be 8 documents.  The previous/legacy form had a button for each element.  When the user clicked the button, they were able to navigate to the document, and attach it to the form. (see image below).  I would like to present a similar functionality.It doesn’t seem like Attachments would work, because there is no way to pull up the specific document of the exact element that you want to see.    I was thinking of storing the documents in a document library and provide a link next to the element in the form, but I am not sure how that would work (i.e. how to get the URL for the document).   I do not want to rely on the user to “name” the document cor

Create Jira Issue When New List Item Created

I'm attempting to create a new Jira issue using Jira's REST API through the Nintex Web Request action. The HTML response I get asks me to "please sign in", even though I am supplying my username and password in the action configuration. My JSON is fine according to a developer on our company's Jira team as he was able to create an Issue card using his tool with it. I've read up on Jira's Basic Authentication, but I have no idea what to do with this in my workflow. The Basic Authentication and the REST API both refer to using a curl command to receive authentication. Do I need to do this somehow? Does anyone have any experience with Jira in Nintex Workflow that can assist me with this? I may need some hand holding so I appreciate your time and patience in advance.

Update multiple items action matching People and Choice fields

I'm trying to use the Update multiple items action to match all items for a certain Employee (people field) and change a Status (choice field) from "Approved" to "Removed". The workflow seemingly completes without error, but none of the items in my list are updated. Here is my filter criteria: I'm also running (slightly dated) Workflow version 4.3.3.0. I did a scan through the release notes and couldn't find if this was an issue that had been resolved, so hoping others might have some ideas or pointers to help troubleshoot?

Multiple Flexi Task outcomes need to go to the same action

   My workflow has three possible outcomes: reject, approve, and not applicable, as shown in the image.   If the first level approver chooses Not Applicable, the workflow is supposed to go to the second level approver. In other words, both Approve and Not Applicable are supposed to go to the second level approver. The arrow shows the desired direction of flow.   The only difference is that the Approve keeps a record that the manager approved and the Not Applicable doesn’t record that manager’s approval.   Later on, there might be some list items updated differently; but even then they should go to the same second level approver.   Looking at the image, I could add the second level approver again below Not Applicable; but then later I will need to add more approvers who also have Not Applicable options.   Please advise.

NINTEX Database 2010 to 2013 using Quest Metalogix content Matrix

Hi,I am trying to migrate Nintex 2010 to 2013 database using the quest Metalogix content matrix.  so I click on Attach external Connection -> Add Nintex Database -> Then Nintex Database picker. Here I am a little confused about which database I need to add for migration SP2010 existing Nintex database or I need to create a new Nintex database in SP2013 and attach that. Please help me I am not so familiar with this step.  Thanks.

Nintex form rules based on Person who created item

I would like to create a rule for a control to be visible based on the person who created the item. ie if the person who created the item is Person A or Person B then the control is visible, otherwise the control is not visible.    WHat is the correct syntax for this?   Kirk

Request Data Action - Store Attachment

I'm creating a workflow using Nintex 2013 on SharePoint 2013. I'm trying to use the 'Request Data' Action to have the user submit a flight itinerary as an attachment. I'm trying to store that attachment within the same list the workflow is kicking off of so that it can then be sent to another user to review. Since the Request Data action only lets you store the variable to the workflow, how do I go about transitioning it to a list and then sending it out?

Is it possible to create a Report?

Hi, I have created workflows on SharePoint list and library.  Now I have to create custom reports.  I searched the documents and community blogs, but no where I found a suitable article. One of the ways is to create views on SharePoint Lists/Library and then export to Excel file.  However, I have some fields in Repeated Section and if there are more than one item in Repeated Section then only last item gets populated in SharePoint List. It will be a grate help for me if somebody share a solution for the issue. ThanksSunil

Integer to Date in Nintex Forms

Hi guys,I have an issue converting an integer to date in nintex forms.Scenario:I have a main list and a task list. Task Items are connected to the main item using Lookup Fields.Using this formula I am able to get the latest DueDate of the task list for a specific main item: max(lookup("Tasks","LookupField:ID",{ItemProperty:ID},"DueDate",true)) This however converts the Date field to the integer representation of this field (e.g. "1624485600000").I found the "convertToDate" and "formatDate" functions but unfortunately they tell me my value is not a number: Normally you could convert this back to a Date for example using Javascriptvar x = new Date(1624485600000)x.toDateString() //expected: "Thu Jun 24 2021" But using this, the form tells me this: Last part translated: "The object does not support this action". This only occurs when I add the "new Date()" part to a calculated value in the form.Is there any other way to convert this value back to a date? I am using Forms for Sh

Automatic deployments using Azure DevOps

Is there any recommended approch for automatic deployments using Azure DevOps. In other words, is there a script/API available that would let the devOps enginners export and import workflows and update connectors automatically ?   Is there any script or guidelines for deployment automation ?

How to I set a sharepoint online date column to be empty using update items action?

In NWC using the update items action I want to set the value of a date column to be empty. I have an assets list which staff check out and check in items.When an asset is checked out I set the custom date column 'Check Out Time' to the current data/time. When the asset is checked back in I want to clear out the date/time from the 'Check Out time' column. In the update items action it will not let me publish the workflow when I leave the value for the field blank.I cannot create a variable of date/time without setting an initial value.If I try a text variable which is empty the workflow errors on executing the update items action. Anyone come across this before and found a solution?

Nintex Mobile Application Issue (iOS)

I created a Nintex Application on "Nintex App Studio". After deploying the app, I downloaded it on Android device and it worked fine. But after downloading the ios apk on Apple device, I received the below error on my mobile:Un able to Install "My App"This app cannot be installed because its integrity could not be verified.----Also, I noticed the below error in Nintex App Studio after clicking on App Deploy: Note the iOS Distribution Certificates have been generated and uploaded successfully on Nintex App Studio and the status is showing as "Valid" Note: The program type of my Apple account is "Apple Developer Program"  Please advise what might be the issue?

Approval Workflow

Hi, I have an approval workflow wherein I take input from the user through a nintex form. In a Flexi Task I have given the URL for the item wherein the approver can open and view the details and I have also given the Approval URL for the user to Approve/Reject the item.  So, is it possible to display the approve and reject buttons on the nintex form itself (from where the input was taken) rather than giving the URL to the user? Also, is it possible to provide a task in the SharePoint list itself such that the approver doesn't need to go his mail box to approve the task. He can go the item in the list itself and Approve / Reject the item.  Thanking you in advance.  Regards,Shyam

User Context Variables - NWC Starting Form

Hi all, I've noticed in the 'What's New': 'Highlights from Release 129', that user context is now available in NWC forms: User Context VariableForm designers can now access contextual information based on the logged in user that is accessing an authenticated form. Designers will be able to use the signed in user’s first name, last name, and email address. Can anyone confirm whether this is available from NWC starting forms?I can't seem to see where these variables are available in a starting form. Thanks

i have a form with 3 sections and a dropdown menu 1st section - initiator. - must have no access to edit 2nd and 3rd section.- can only edit and add details on 1st section.-when the user selected 'send' on dropdown menu, assignee will receive an email saying that he/she will have access to edit the 2nd section. 2nd section - receiver - must have no access to edit 1st and 3rd section.- can only edit and add details on 2nd section.-when the user selected 'send' on dropdown menu, another assignee will receive an email saying that he/she will have access to edit the 3rd section.  3rd section - last person - must have no access to edit 2nd and 1st section.- can only edit and add details on 3rd section.

Nintex Synchronization running on wrong server?

Hello,We are running a 2016 SharePoint Farm with 8 server plus the DB Server. We have four Front-end with Distributed Cache, two App server and two search server.Now we get various errors with the scheduled tasks. I reinstalled Nintex Workflow Scheduler according to https://community.nintex.com/t5/Nintex-for-SharePoint-Forum/Scheduled-workflows-and-the-Nintex-Workflow-Scheduler-timer-job/td-p/85717But what I also saw, is that the service “Nintex Synchronization” always fails. But it amazes me, that this service is running on one of the search servers. Can this be right? The Nintex license is of course only valid for the four FE.Is there a way, to reinstall or move this service with NWAdmin.exe?kind regardsMichael

Workdesk: Start specific app

Hello,We are using Workdesk to allow users to select from various applications. Our current URL for our workdesk is: https://bpm.placer.ca.gov/Runtime/Runtime/Form/com.K2.App.Workdesk.Form.Workdesk/ We want to be able to pass a parameter that will allow the user to load Appliation2 or App3 instead of the default application on the workdesk.  What parameters can be set to override the default application on load? Thanks,-tomas
