I would like to create a rule for a control to be visible based on the person who created the item. ie if the person who created the item is Person A or Person B then the control is visible, otherwise the control is not visible.

WHat is the correct syntax for this?

Hi,

You can create a rule, go to "Rules" tab and a rule as shown below (I have this rule created on Title field, change the field as per your requirement

And I used the "Curent Item's "Created By Email" address, you can also use "login name", "display name" also as shown below.
