Wait until Success status in workflow

i want to built workflow with wait condition till SMo which is using store procedure return status as Success. if return status is fail workflow will wait for 1hr and again try to execute same smo and check status, if status is success go to next activity or again wait for 1hr to execute. can any one help to implement this logic

GUID Issues with SQL Server Service

I'm having an issue similar to the one outlined in this KB: https://help.k2.com/support-services/kbt134037My issue is that when I follow the instructions listed so I can get to the resolution I can recreate the issue. 1.) Create a simple table in SQL, create a column called ID of type Unique Identifier.2.) Mark it as a primary key (setting it as unique).3.) Set the default value of ID as (newid)().4.) Add a service instance for that database, exposing the new table as a service object.5.) Add a SmartObject (advanced) via the designer, add the methods and auto create data fields which should create an ID. Note that the SmartObject automatically and correctly identifies this as Autoguid. This is were my situation is different K2 is not correctly identifying the Unique Identifer as an AutoGUID even though the default is set to newid() K2 is registering this field as just as GUID.Any suggestions to resolve this issue? Do I maybe to the change the configuration for my SQL Server Service?

Start multiple workflow instances by going through list entries

Hello,I have a workflow which creates, updates list items, and goes through approval process. Once every week I need  to schedule another workflow which checks the list items. For every entry to the list, if "Approved" column is 'Yes' & 'Expiration Date' is less than or equal to 30 days from today, there is a need to trigger the previously mentioned 'another' workflow. For example, If there are 50 such entries to the list, then I need 50 workflow instances.Any help is appreciated. Thanks,Kaushik

Start multiple workflow based on smart object

Hi, Rquirements:1st workflow that is based on SMO to start a second workflow which send an action to the user (approve/reject)     if SMO has 8 items - it need to fire 8 workflow instance     if SMO has 50 items- it needs to fire 50 workflow instance 2nd workflow in which user take an action either to approve/reject.  Thanks

Not able to integrate K2 Five workflow in K2 Studio through IPC event.

I have opened K2 studio workflow and added K2 five workflow as existing item, when try to integrate through IPC. It is not shown in the select process list.  Is it posible to integrate k2 five workflow to old workflows which is developed in k2 studio.? Thanks in advance !!

Query SmartObject Help

Hey all, New to K2 here and need some assistance. I work at a University and I'm currently working on a project that will convert some of our student based forms to electronic forms with workflows behind them. Ideally we want to have the student enter their local College ID into a field on the form and K2 will then populate fields in the form with known data from our Student Information System. I have a process that populates an Azure SQL Database with the needed information from our Student Information System, then I generate a SmartObject in K2 that is linked to the Azure SQL Database,I have a proof-of-concept working using a Picker field where the student will enter their ID number, but the problem is that in deployment we can't use the Picker field because it allows a user to search for other students on campus (there is some FERPA concerns with this). Is there a way that we can disable the search icon for the Picker?Or is there a way/field type that I can use to query the SmartObj

K2 Five Workflow for SharePoint - Multiple SP Lookup Fields to the same List - What happens?

Hello - I'm looking at the following situation...Created a Lookup List to hold the names of Developers Created Request List that has the need to select:  Developer1, Developer2, Developer3 Created 3 Lookup Fields in the Request List referencing back to Developers Lookup ListIs K2 Workflow able to differentiate that there are more than 1 Lookup field to the same List? Upon Appifying the Request List, I was hoping to see in the Workflow Fields Section:  Request List, Request List Attachments ... and then ... 3 Reference List(s)  respectfully - one Reference List for each Lookup Field.... but this was not the case. This being the case, I'm assuming I would need to create 3 "Create Reference" steps in the workflow and do the lookup based on value selected? Possibly a feature for releases of K2 for SharePoint? Thanx !!

Need to remove decommissioned server

Since old farm was running K2 5.2 on WS2012 R2, we stood up new servers running WS2016 and added them to the existing farm running 5.2. We then removed the old servers from the load balancer and turned off the K2 services.  Now that K2 was running on the new servers running WS 2016, we upgraded the farm to 5.3. I read somewhere that K2 Five automatically disables old nodes that don't respond.  I've already removed the licenses from the K2 Management portal.  Can anyone confirm if we still need to work with K2 Support to remove the entries from the database?

K2 for SharePoint Authorization not successful Error

Hi guys, I'm trying to create a SmartObject from SharePoint as the error shows up Authorization not successful. On management, i enable the realm to gain access to the SharePoint library to create a SmartObject. Kindly help assist with this

500 Internal Server Error when opening workflow

Hi, I'm getting 500 Internal Server Error when trying to open a workflow in K2 Designer.Please see attached image. Can anyone help please on why this error is showing? It's happening on a quite  few workflows that I have. thanksAaron

Execution error occurred - Given path format is not supported.

Hello folks,when I run the k2 setup file, i am receiving the below error. Do anyone knows about it? I have done the below troubleshooting. 1. All the pre-requisite are correct 2. Tried copy the file in a different directory and the same error3. Ran with admin 4. apply all the GU update  still, I am having same error.

Exchange mailbox service - move mail

i am able to use this service broker to read inbox emailsi would like to move the items, i have created a folder called testingwhen i try and use the move method, it doesn't recognise the folder name any ideas?

Browser translation extension (e.g. Google Chrome)

Is there a way to allow smart forms to be automatically translated through a browser plug-in?  I'm finding that it translates the SharePoint page, but does not translate any of the K2 smart form.  I know there are language packs available, but I don't want to invest in creating multiple versions of the form for the limited number of times a user cannot converse in English. So, either: 1. Is there a way to enable this through Google Chrome?or 2. Any other workarounds to make this as simple as possible?

Message box meant for submitter appears for every subsequent user due to the load method

A validation rule checks for a reqular expression in a field on change. This message is meant only for the submitter. However, the message appears for every subsequent client event. I suspect because we save the field value to a smart object when no parameter is set and load back the value when the parameter is set (in other words) when subsequent task owners open the form, the load method is registering as a change to the field which execurtes the validation rule and shows the message. Is there a way I can supress the message on load or a better way to structure the valication rule so that it only didplays when the submitter enters the data.

Creating json descriptor from REST api hosted locally

I want to create a Json Descriptor File. The REST Api i am using is Locally hosted on a server, now I tried using http://editor.swagger.io/#/It does not seem to work, Please is there a swagger editor I can install locally so I can use it to find the json descriptor. Please i need advises here.

Management security: category has disappeared after a mistake

Hi, On the Management interface, while changing rights on a category, have done a mistake: I have trashed my user (with security rights) instead of another (with no security rigths). Now, my category has disappeared from the categories list...  How can I rediscovery my lost category? (I am an admin)

Workflow Rights

Hi Simple question.   I want to know if I can write a SQL script to assign rights against a workflow, rather than entering manually. Which SQL table contains the users that have been assigned rights to workflows (so that they can do actions such as start, view etc.)? Ideally, I don't want to create active directory groups to mass assign users. To provide context, I am doing this on our development environment for testing purposes.  Thanks.

k2 update menu problems

Hello,today I have updated k2 modul in Joomla. After updating I have noticed that menu's with category listing's are all empty. Example:ingvar.si/varilni-aparati-froniusthey should list subcategories.All menus with item k2 listing work. Example:ingvar.si/varilni-aparati-fronius/mig-mag-varilni-aparati-fronius/varilna-naprava-tpsi/tps270iDoes anybody have any idea why my menu's have crashed? Migration Exchange onPrem to Online

Hello to allI come with a request which does not seem clear to me.Currently we work with K2 5.2 FP30 and Exchange OnPrem. This works perfectly and stable.Now our management wants to migrate to ExchangeOnline and I want to make sure that I don't miss anything.Currently, the names of Exchange servers or their DNS names are in the environment variables and the connections work.The SMTP sending of emails is handled internally, does this have anything to do with ExhcangeOnline as long as an internal server takes over the SMTP task?Or do I have to change the complete installation to ExchangeOnline?Just as a hint, we do not have SMO for Exchange in use. Only mail notification.I hope you understand my question.GreetingsStefan

Don't see all my smartobject's fields in Workflow

Hello community, Starting here and there is something that I don't understand.I'm working on a workflow started by a form. So I've a SmartObject (SQL) linked in the form that I can use in the workflow. I have later added fields to my SO but I can't manage to get those later fields in my diagram. I only get the fields that were present when I intially associated my SO to my diagram through the form. Am I clear ? Any Idea ?

Calling REST Services to create Smartobject to use in K2 Form / Workflow

I am very new to consuming REST and converting it to Smartobjects, so I can use it in K2 Forms or WorkflowHence I wanted to know if I am on the correct track, Is this the way to go about Registering the REST service. I am very new to something like this. Am I doing it correctly??

Picture control - Old image still displayed after changing the underlying PNG file

We have forms with a picture control to display our company logo. We have changed the logo i.e. we kept the same Source property but changed the PNG file to display. However, when we display the form in Designer mode, the old image is still displayed. The new image is displayed correctly in Runtime mode. Any idea on how to fix the issue in Design mode? A cache somewhere? Thanks.

GetErrorLogsFiltered/GetErrorLogs method(Error Log smartobject) throws error when we use in Workflow

1) Tried to access  Workflow Server -> Errors -> Error profile = "ALL" in the newly created Workflow.2) Created smart object reference for "Error Log" -> GetErrorLogsFiltered method with input mappings(ErrorProfileName=All) 3) When we execute the above steps, system throws the following error (but records are there)         "Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.          Parameter name: startIndex"4) But if we access the above method using 'Smartobject Service Tester', it is working correctly(records are listing).    Can anyone help us, what could be the reason for this error? How to fix it?

Activity Instant ID

Hi, I am having issue with getting user Activity Instant ID. I  have 3 environment. DEV and QA are fine and I can get the Activity Instant ID but in Production, I can not. Can somebody help me with this? This is very frustrating. Why the it works on the Dev and QA but not PROD? I did not change anything when I deployed to PROD. Chhai
