Run if - SharePoint list starts workflow, Nintex form does not

My workflow works so long as the SharePoint list conditions are met, see screenshot below. When I produce the same SharePoint List starting conditions from a Nintex Form, the workflow doesn’t start.I tried this, but it did not work:Nintex Workflow – Workflow Not Starting/Triggering when the Item Created by Another Workflow - SharePoint PalsI read this but the solutions weren’t clear. The digital 0 and 1 conditions so the flow doesn’t re-start is unecessary in my case:Start a Workflow from a Nintex Form | Community

Unable to send out workflow notification ExchangeOnline

Hi @allI have noticed since a few days that we can not send emails from our test system. Since when exactly it no longer works I can unfortunately not say, the system (version 5.6) is not used daily.I get the following message:"72999628", "2023-07-31 10:40:49", "Error", "MessageBus", "61012", "ConnectionError", "ExchangeWebServicesOrigin", "61012 Exception from message source username@domain.com: System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: The primary SMTP address must be specified when referencing a mailbox.The account has an MS license, has a mailbox and can access it.I have already checked the settings in "ConnectionStringEditor.exe" and compared them with the working systems. The settings are identical.However, when I run Setup.exe and want to reconfigure, I can only select the installation with the "Recover" option. No other option is active.Do you have a tip here where to look?Best regardsStefan

K2/Exchange 365 Meeting Invite

We’re in the process of pointing our K2/Nintex Automation Exchange Instance from Exchange On Prem to Exchange 365.  Our emails are flowing as expected.  However, when I try to use the new ‘Appointment’ SmartObject in the Exchange Online folder, it doesn’t send a meeting request, it just puts a meeting on the calendar.  Does anyone know how to get the meeting request to send?

Make use of Web Icons in your SmartForms

Sometimes you want extra clickable icons in your SmartForms using Font Awesome or Google Fonts and some simple JavaScript can give you this capability very easily.As an example we will use Font Awesome to add clickable help information icons to a picker control and Checkbox List Control. Workspace permissions

Hey folks,  we are currently planning our K2 Workspace- and App-Structure and thinking of the design, permissions, forms etc.Currently we are trying to setup workspaces and their links, but is it kinda a design failure that you cant limit permissions? We want users to be able to access a workspace, but not to see the links to forms they are not permitted to. Am I doing sth wrong or is it just not possible?Is there a alternative?

Hey folks,as we struggle creating a good user-flow for our employees in K2 Five / automation on prem, we are looking for some examples (screenshots) of solutions for that. For example a dashboard with permissions to smartforms (f. e. applications) the employees can use by their roles.Or other creative smartforms the community has created… or is there a public showcase I can’t find? :)

Get IP address of user in Smartform?

Hi, Is there any way of getting the users IP address when they open a smartform? I don't want to install any third party k2 add-ons, is there a way to get it using Javascript/Jquery used in a data label on a View/form? Any help appreciated. Thanks

K2 Five(5.6) Installed With SQLUM User Manager How to Authenticate From .NET Code

I have installed K2 Five (5.6) With SQLUM User Manager with MS SQL. We need to call a K2 From URL from a .NET code or via an iframe without having to make the user enter the username/password again; As the user already logs-in via login-in screen in a web application that then calls the k2 form from within. Can this be done using a .NET code or by doing some configuration on the k2 server authentication via (issuers and claims ? )

PDF View Functionality

Hi All,I have been asked by business, the list control is showing attachment details and when the user select on it then be default its getting downloaded. So, Is there any possibility to achieve the Attachment to View in a new Tab or a Sub form instead of downloading ?Any scripting also helps but I’m not looking to achieve this via OData SMO.

Task process doesn't send email

Hi,I’m a beginner of creating K2 workflow. My boss gave me a task which is creating this workflow (figure 1). I am using K2 worksapce’s website. I have already put the email address which is the same as in the setting (figure 2). K2 5.4 Upgrade from K2 4.7

Custom K2 control - JavaScript file refusing to load because of mime type

Hi there,I have a custom control that I have been making changes to and it is working as expected on the server I have developed it on.When I go to deploy the newer version to a different K2 server (the older version was deployed and working as expected on the 3 other servers) I am getting the following when the Forms engine is trying to read the .js file associated with the control (this happens for both the designer and runtime sites):Refused to execute script from 'https://my_k2_server/Designer/Bundles/Js/DT.K2.Forms.Custom.My_Custom_Control?_v=5.1012.21313.1' because its MIME type ('text/html') is not executable, and strict MIME type checking is enabled.If I load through chrome developer tools on the server that I developed the control on the above equivalent Url, the server returns the JavaScript file contents as expected to the browser.There were a number of xml property changes so I had to re-run the controlutil.exe to update it (this normally isn’t a problem but am mentioning i

K2 Install, two K2 Installations on the same sql server...

We are in the process of Upgrading a K2 V4.7  to 5.5. At the moment the k2 4.7 is installed on our company sql server. Our aim is to install a fresh installation of 5.5 on the same sql server. So we end up with two k2 Sql databases (different names example k2, K2config. Would this create any issues on installation? or anyone had experienced issues with this kind of installation ? Thanks

K2 Five 5.6 - still failing on configuration service?

I have come across the below article when researching how to upgrade from 5.5 to 5.6:This is not contained within any of the release notes for this version. Is it something I still need to be concerned about?In the release notes, it mentions that the .1 version of the installer...“Fixed the bug relating to the K2 Configuration Service not able to connect to SQL when a SQL Alias was configured on the SQL Server.”Does anyone know if this fix is referring to the issue mentioned in the article? There is no KB given and the article above doesn’t mention anything about aliases. Thanks in advance.

Validation on an excel file upload

Hi all,Please i need a solution on how to validate some data on my excel sheet which i am uploading to a smartobject using excel export service.on the excel sheet i have a colunm Barcode, Name, AssetType, SerialNo etc which i am uploading but i want to use the barcode on tjhe excel sheet for validate whereby if the barcode exist on the smartobject the system wont upload that row or colunm on the smartobject.Thank is advance.

how to pass a data from a list view control into a sql procedure in k2 five

Hi,i have a list view (List view A) which i input a data into on a form and i also have another list view (List view B) which just contain data…List view A consist of item, Quantity, Budget etc WHILE List view B consist of Budget, Balance, Request etci am getting the budget in the List view A from List view B, doing a get list.i have a procedure which i pass in the value on the list view A  to do a deduction or addition, if the budget value from list view B is 3 which i get into budget of list view A and i input 2 into my quantity controlthe procedure ought to deduct the quantity value from the budget in list view B but it does not.my thought was may be the procedure is not picking the value on the list cause when i use SMO test to test the procedure works fine. Kindly help with a solution on this.thanks in advance.
