Workflow REST API BASIC AUTH - How?

Hi there, I can use my AD account to make calls to the Workflow REST API with no issues. However, can I use a non AD username and password as in BASIC AUTH? Where do I setup the BASIC AUTH username and password ? I can't see anywhere in the management tools to set this up.  Cheers, Mike.

A double response is returned in the rest service called in the workflow application run in the K2 five core (5.6) application.  This causes the response returned a second time to return empty and we get an error.  Can you help with the solution?

Document Review Date Approaching Reminders

Hello -  I would write about a list workflow that appears to be requested often.  The workflow needs to send a reminder to the document owner when the document review date is 90, 30, 15 days away from a Review Date (giving them time to review and update the document).This document library has the following columns:Review Date (Date and Time:  Date Only) - mandatory Document Owner (Person or Group) - mandatoryI tried many different ways but I have no luck. Can I build Nintex reminder workflow with SharePoint document library? Any help is appreciated.

Comments sections

I looked up this topic and found the items outlined below on how to time/date stamp comments and then have them move above the comments section after each entry.  I have created an "Add Comment" workflow on the list which is set to start manually and appears on the item context menu.It has one variable which is shown on the start page of the workflow and is required.The workflow does this:Build String = Current date and time, new line, initiator display name, new line, comments added on start form, new line, item property comments (so new comments are timestamped and added above previous comments).  Stored into variable called vMTextComments Update Item = set comments field on current item = vMTextComments  this will be possible to do in the form also if you wanted it to be done in there. However, I can not it to work.  Would anyone be willing to send my screenshots of the step by step process to make this work?

Getting "SmartObject property is required Property" error but method still runs

HiI am getting the following error:"SmartObject property SubcontractorID is a required property for selected method Create. Value must be set."Yet after clicking "OK" the method has successfully run and the SubcontractorID property has been entered into its needed field.Does anyone know why I am getting the error window despite the method running without issue? The rule running this method is:On View when Button is ClickedThen on View execute Create method for all items that have been Added This system is currently on K25, but was originally updated from K2 blackpearl.

Digital Signature Control doesn't work in anonymous form

We use a Digital Signature Control in our forms. It works fine with authenticated users, but doesn't work in anonymous form on mobile devices. Is there any solution for this? Or maybe there is another control for digital signature (draw on a canvas via mouse and touch) for anonymous?

Sending a notification email with link or attached form submitted (with answers) to originator?

Hello, I just finished working on a form, but I would like the originator to receive the link of the form submitted with the answers... I am not sure how to do it. I tried to add the display view as an attachment but did not know how to do it with the ID of that specific form nor where to get the display view from the workflow.

How to serialize or deserialize an xml string in K2 five?

I have created a REST api service broker in K2 five. One of the api returns an xml string. Is there any way to deserialize it in K2 five and get the tags and the values which I am interested in? I tried looking for ways in K2 five but could not understand if we need to create a customized smartobject and somehow use it for deserialization. But even then how will it be dynamically generated? Also, if I have a view containing - let say, name and number. Given an xml schema, can it be serialized into xml string and use in the body of PUT api.

K2 Custom Control Property not updating from script file

Might be I am missing very small thing. But scenario is not working. Below highlighted is the custom control. With Category Display  I dragged two controls on item view as below.  What I want to achieve is.On button click rule. I am setting custom control properties and just displaying values in message box.    In the message box, its displaying old value not the new one. script files also attached if anyone can help please.

How is the K2 connected to multiple OS

I'm thinking of getting a Keychron K2 v2. I have 2 computers I'd want to connect it to: a Macbook (for work) and a Chromebook (for personal use).Does anyone have experience using the K2 (or other Keychron) with multiple operating systems? I just want to make sure this isn't going to be a pain before I buy.Thank you!

HostServer throwing exceptions after upgrade to K2 Blackpearl 4.6.11

We just upgraded K2 from version 4.6.6 to 4.6.11 on our environments. There are two K2 servers in the environment with a load balancer setup. post to REST service with json array

hi,I have a REST service which needs an json array as an input. Like:{ "array" : [ { "value1" : "abc", "value2": 1.00 }, { "value1" : "def", "value2": 2.00 } ]}The SmartObjects method gets an Memo input parameter (requestarray). I think I have to expose this input parameter as a list with the serialize list function of the requestarray.I know how to deserialize response values, but I couldn't figure out how to do it on the input side. Is there a tutorial somewhere?

Endpoints Webservice Error - 417 Expectation Failed

Hi, I've created a Endpoints Webservice instance pointing to a wsdl and can successfully connect. I've also created a basic SmartObject in order to test the service. However, when I try execute the SmartObject method, I get a HTTP "417 Expectation Failed" error straight away. Having done a little reading, I tried to amend the web config so as not to send the Expect: 100-Continue header, but this has seemed to make no difference. Has anyone else run into this issue before? Any ideas?

when Rest API smartObject executed, in response it is returning back blank values with code=0

when Rest API smartObject executed, in response it is returning back blank values. and the response code is 0.   I have also tried with openweather API it shows same result.   PFA screen shot.   When I tested Rest API and the JSON descriptor document also in POSTMAN client, Response code is 200. test is successful.   but not able to understand from k2 why it does not returning expected result. Guys, Kindly let me know how to resolve it. I will really greatfull for your technical help.

K2 Five Rest API

Exception of type 'System.Web.HttpUnhandledException' was thrown.

Hi All,One of the users in Prod is not getting task assigned to them, when they try to open application getting the below errorException of type 'System.Web.HttpUnhandledException' was thrown.The K2:DomainUsername could not be found. But the same user is able to access the application on DEV environment. ListView pagination format issue - Total number of page is not displaying.

If i run listview using runtime url it is showing total number of page as below -  When i used same view as popup in form total number of page is not displaying on view, it is going below. I am using Lithium theme in the form. I tried to add style to move total count next to 1 as shown in image 1 but not success.  If anyone is having idea on it, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Auto Resize A Button

Does anyone know how to autofit a button size based on text in the button (or wrap button text) and the column around it? I have buttons on my form, whose text changes based on the task and it keeps cutting off half of it. Furthermore, on differing computers the buttons sometimes get half cut off based on screen size.  Any help would greatly be appreciated.

K2 Adding a row on list item view after click enter

Hello, I have problem with my list view, and i dont get it why this isn't work. The problem is that if user click enter, on my list view automatically genereting a new item with some validation and this isn't thing which i want. I tried blocked enter key on javascript. But this script isn't work for that, because it is so random. This script sometimes block but sometimes don't work. Do you have any ideas, how to help me with that? I tried 4 diffrent scritps they are in attachments.

Have K2 specify null values in JSON payload rather than leaving out the property

Hi All,I'm integrating with a Web Service provided by a 3d party and I don't have control over the web service.They provided a swagger file and an extract of the swagger for the method in question is below as an example.There are some optional fields but the Web Service has a requirement that the field needs to be specified with a null value.When I don't specify a value for one of the fields from the K2 smartobject (or even pass scnull), K2 does not include the property in the payload instead of specifying it as null, see below.Is there a way I can force K2 to specify the property in the JSON payload with a null value rather than leaving it out? Swagger: "AddWorkflowStepV2Request": { "title": "AddWorkflowStepV2Request", "description": "#### Add a step to the Workflow request.", "type": "object", "properties": { "ActionField": { "description": "#### Is the action taken by a user in a workflow on this step.`", "type": "integer", "format": "int32", "enum": [ "0", "1", "2" ] }, "CellField"

DynamicADSO -> update user, directory service is not available
