Flexi tasks are not working.

Permissions for InfoPath form on SharePoint

I have searched the forums but can't find a resolution to this problem. I have an InfoPath-integrated process. It is browser-based, so as it goes through each step, a temporary InfoPath file is saved in the form library. There doesn't seem to be a way to not save the temporary file. I have to grant access to the form library in order for people to participate in the process. However, I only want them to be able to see the files related to their process - not everyone else's files. I have tried a SharePoint User Management event to set permissions on the file, but it isn't working. Anyone know how to resolve this?

Update Nintex Workflow 2013 Installer crash

Hi,I was trying to update Nintex Workflow 2013 from 3.0.8.0 to 3.1.7.0 this weekend, but the installer crashed everytime when trying to "Disabling Workflow Timer Job..."Has anyone else experienced this problem?Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Redirect based on control value / run JavaScript only if form is valid?

I need to be able to redirect to a URL when a form is saved based off a value of a control.   For some reason Nintex cannot access a control value in the Redirect URL parameter on the form.So I thought I could use the Client Click parameter of the button.    This works but the code is always executed even if the form is not valid.      Is there anyway to check if the form is valid then not execute the code if it is not valid?

Prioritizing Worklist Items

Hi All,We want to integrate prioritizing of tasks in our application. The priotity of each instance of a task will differ. Now we found that K2 only allows three types of priorities, High, Medium and Low. This causes an issue because we have different level of importence per task.Is there a way to add more priorities?What would happen if we added priorities in the _Priority table on the K2Log DB? If we made any changes like this to the K2Log would this affect the support that we have on K2? If we arent allowed to make changes like this could someone be sent out to do this for us?Thanks

2 workflow instance executes at same time

I am working in Nintex 2013 (and Sharepoint 2013).Requirement: When employee joined the company, employee details are entered in SharePoint list Employee and after save Unique ID is generated. This ID is fetched from GenerateID list which has 1 row 1 column. During save of list item, Nintex workflow fetch latest ID from GenerateID list and Increment it with 1 and assigned it to column Employee ID (Latest ID + 1) in Employee list and override this latest ID in GenerateID and for another new Employee it will do the same activity and so on. In short, every Emp should have unique ID.Issuethis application is used across location which result in duplicate ID - may be multiple Admin. clicks on SAVE button at same time. This rarely happens, but what could be fix for this. How to restrict workflow instance to stop till earlier workflow instance finish its activity. - Chintan

I see the workflows in gallery but cannot see it when opening the \context menu\" -> workflow item in a form!?"

We have several Workflows to realize the "personal mutation process" (entry, change and Exit).Since a few days I have  several wf who crashed. I wanted to restart it. So I opened the contextmenue and then "Workflows". But there I could not find he Workflows although in the site properties - workflow Gallery they are existing.What could be the Problem?Those wf worked for almost 2 years now without any problems. They were built by an external company. I can do several things now but I am not sure where to search for the Problem. Almost it Looks strange, several Workflows are shown in this context menue but a few of em not.Thank you very much for your thoughts, ideas.Have a good one.

Purpose of the Submit Rules and ActionName

Why does BlackPoint add almost a rule for each InfoPath view but skip others? I noticed that after InfoPath Integration or a "Refresh" InfoPath adds a Submit rule for most of the views that sets the ActionName to the custom "Action Value". Am I missing something or should we just be using the ActionName that comes with the _K2 fields? There doesn't seem to be any guidance on this at all so if anyone has a link that would be great.

When manually installing update how do I know which wsp to install? This is for Nintex Workflow 2013

I have been trying to update my nintex environment for sometime, I think I need to export and just do it through SharePoint Management shell. However not sure which of the wsp files I need to install. If I need to install all then what order?

Filter a lookup by multiple values

Hi, I'm trying to filter a lookup by multiple values (E.g. where the year column is 2016 or 2017) but nothing i can think of seems to work. I've tried putting 'fn-Or("2017","2016")' in the filter value box but it's not working. Filtering by a single value is fine but otherwise i can't build any kind of logic into it.Thanks for any help.

Error 1324. The path Microsoft Visual Studio .NET contains..

I have K2.Net 2003: Service Pack 1 (3.4138.1.0) installed on my Windows 2003 Server machine. Whenever I tries to uninstall the software, it gives me this error:"Error 1324. The path Microsoft Visual Studio .NET contains an invalid character."and the (un)installation will complete unsuccessfully.The same error goes when I tries to install K2.Net 2003: Service Pack 2a w/o uninstalling the previous version.Anyone can advice?

multiple assignment on a task

hi there, i have a case here i need to know what i can do about it.my case is: user is assined a task, when the user is late to do his task then his/her manager become ALSO assigned on the same task so any one of them now can do the task.simply; can i add one more user to be assigned also on task assigned to another user. thanks in advance

Workflows are cancelled by system account

Hi, guys!Sometimes i meet with a strange trouble: workflows which have an action "Pause for" are sometimes getting cancelled by system account.This happens randomly without any human factor.When i open workflow log, i see:Status:Cancelled And action "Pause for" is highlighted by yellow color and marked as incompleteWhat can be cause of this? From which part of farm i should start to investigate that trouble?

Are the K2 BlackPoint able to work with the InfoPath Form Services? If yes, how to configure it?My step is ...1. I've installed SharePoint, create Document Library, publish InfoPath form, enable web page, I can open form in IE and save it.2. I've installed K2 BlackPoint, create K2 workflow, integrated it to that Document Library and enable web page. I can open form in IE but the error occur after I submit it.

Landing page to check workflow status

Hi,I have a Nintex form submitted by some users. Once the form is submitted, user gets notified and workflow will be triggered.This workflow has three approval stages, I have a requirement , to create a landing page for user to come and check status of their submitted form.Eg : On landing page for Form ID : 10, Approver A approved, In - Process at Approver BIs there any way, can we show this on a page or Nintex Form with some graphical representation ( if possible )?

Workflow emails going to junk folder

I'm hoping someone will be able to help me.  We have many lists and libraries using Nintex workflows and any email being sent from the workflow goes to the user's inbox.  I have one list where some emails go to the user's inbox and other emails go to their junk folder and I cannot figure out why.  All emails are being sent from the same account.  The workflow is a very simple one...Staff member fills out a Nintex formOnce they submit the form, the staff member receives a confirmation email (goes to inbox) and a representative of the form receives an emailThe workflow waits for a field to not be blankOnce the field gets filled in, an approver of the form receives an emailThe approver will approve or deny the requestThe staff member who filled out the form will receive an email stating their request has been approved or denied.  This email goes to their junk folder. This seems to be the only workflow where emails are going to the junk folder.  What I don't understand is why the first ema

Run parallel actions don't complete before workflow ends

I have a question.  If I add a Run parallel actions action to my workflow, and I end the workflow on one branch of the parallel actions, so that the workflow ends when some action is completed on that branch, whether or not the actions on the other branch, (such as a pause), have completed, is the workflow engine smart enough to end that pending action, or will it put the workflow engine into some kind of endless lock in the background by keeping the action pending in the timer service forever?  For example of what I mean, see the attached images of my workflow, and workflow history, where I tested this.  The workflow works the way I want it to, I am just concerned about creating timer service or workflow service issues.

Bug: Duplicate UDA Menu

I created a new UDA today, and when I went to use it, I noticed that it created a new UDA menu item.  All my older UDA's are under the original menu, where the new UDA is under the new menu.  Anyone ever experienced this before or know why this would happen?  I'm using Nintex  Workflow 2013 v3.1.10.0 with SharePoint 2013 on premise.

Does BlackPoint support Task Action inside section?

If I place my Task Action combo-box inside a Section control, K2 [blackpoint] will ignore it and create a new "Task Action" label and Combo Box at the bottom of the form. If I try and delete this, it adds it back in...Can anyone confirm this behaviour?

Copy workflow status to new column of type hyperlink

I am trying to copy workflow status into a new column of type ' Hyperlink ', and redirect it to my custom page along with item ID. This is what i tried,Action - Build String,                      As my new column is hyperlink, I am setting the URL to custom page in 'Build String'. Where as in the description I want to show text same as 'Workflow Status' column, to make it easy for users.Action - Update List Column,                                           My list column config,                                                  This is what I am trying to do in the workflow,                                         Don't get confused here in first image, I am building the string for the first time and storing it into a workflow variable and using 'Update List Item' action whenever necessary.The second image is what I am trying before workflow ends, even I tried without 'Build String' action , no luck. How to close Workflow Tasks Tab automatically

Hello,I have developed a Nintex form which gets assigned to the user.  User gets mail notification and can open the form through the link provided in mail.  On clicking the link a Nintex form opens in Workflow Tasks tab.  User takes action and submit the form.  On submission the form disappears however Workflow Tasks tab remains open.  Is this the default behavior?  If yes, is there a way to close Workflow Tasks tab automatically.Please help.  ThanksSunil

Workspace report

Hi, i'm developing an online claim application system integrate with k2.net workflow. The claim system allows a secretary to fill up a claim for her boss and submit the claim for approval on behalf of her boss.Currently, only the secretary who submit the claim can view the graphical process flow report on the k2net workspace because she is the originator. How can i allow both party (the secretary and her boss) to view the status of the workflow through the workspace. thanks.

Weekly date Range

Hi,I am creating a site workflow, where I need to send a reminder email every Friday asking users to fill out their weekly report. However, I would like to calculate the Date Range in the subject. So for eg; if I am sending a reminder on Friday Jan 20th, 2017 then, I would like to construct a date range in the subject like so:"Weekly Report Reminder for 01/16/2017 - 01/20/2017" How can I do this? Please help,Thank you
