I’d like to have the history of tracked field changes from an Account record and the related Contact, Case, and Opportunity records all appear in one table on an Account page, sorted in descending order of the date of the change. What is the best way to do this?Thanks!
I want to allow users to add values to a picklist if the value they need isn’t available. They shouldn’t need admin abilities to do this, just an “Add New” when the picklist dropdown appears.
Might be a stupid ? but how do you, if you can with SKUID, override the Attachment Page Layout when viewing a single attachment?
We have a community that has a Skuid page with a visualization. The visualization is based on a Model called Service. Community user is NOT a licensed user of skuid in our org. They log into the community and can see all the services they have access to, and Tabs for the Services AND the custom Skuid TAB called visualization. They can click on a link from the service tab and the service opens in the standard SF page layout. Then we add them as a licensed skuid user and refresh the screen. Click on the visualization page and wala, we see this beautiful chart. However, now if we click on a service we get the “under construction page”. Remove the user from the skuid license and we can then see the services again but not the chart. Any help would be appreciated and thanks.
I have a filter that lists the same item multiple time. I would like to have each item show once without coding.
I am trying to use a custom field that is a string on a table filter.
Charts are awesome. You can even export them to put in your powerpoint slides to impress management. COOL. However the default charts only show the numbers associated with the chart section when you mouseover it. You can’t mouseover the picture in your powerpoint slide. Management can see that the slice is really 45%. BOO. Can we add numbers to the chart lables so they show all the time and get included in downloaded pictures?
I am using this java snippet to load all contacts associated with an Account in a related object. All the contacts load great. I am able to make changes and save the records, Yah! The problem is when I refresh the page it loads all the contacts again, including the saved contacts, so you will see the same contact twice. we really need the ability to control the ‘step’ interval and the formatting of the labels of the x-axis when using dates. When using the ‘week’ granularity, the # isn’t very helpful, and when using dates across a large timeframe, the labels wrap around instead of increasing the step size.
We are overriding the homepage and had no problems making it work as the organization default. However, now that we have created a few homepages that are specific to a profile, the tab is not showing as selected. I found an old topic with a similar issue (https://community.skuid.com/t/on-tab-override-tab-not-selected), but my settings are correct. I feel like it has something to do with the fact that it is specific to a profile… but, I am too new to Skuid to know if that hunch is true.

Hi all,I have a visualforce page to show a map in the detail page of a country. I have it in the detail page and its working perfectly,Now I’m doing a list of countries with a table and drawers, the list is based in country regions (Africa, Europe, Asia, North America, South america, Pacific islands,…).For each region you can open a drawer in the table to see a table of countries and for each country you can open a drawer to see the information of the country.I have 3 models, Region, Countries of the region and Country Info. This is a simplyfied version of what I have (there are another tables with other country lists inside tabs, the purpose of the Country Info model is not to populate all the country information in all the different country models I have)When I open the drawer all the conditions are set and the field editors and tables are with the context configured to show only the information of the region opened and the information of the country opened.All is working correctly b
I am trying to add a Company LinkedIn Page to the Account Detail Page. I am getting the error message below on template component. Please advise. Template Error: ID Value is not valid for the Account Standard Controller Please advise.
I have used the template component with html activated to create a custom I have also created some inline javascript to detect when the checkbox is clicked: ( inline ) $( document ).ready(function() { $(‘#billingCheck’).click(function() { // Clicked }); }); The click listener works until a insert any data into an editor I’m presuming because a models data has changed, Any ideas?
Situation: Opportunity Skuid detail Custom object titled Domain that looks up to the Account Custom junction object titled Opportunity to Domain that looks up to Opportunity and Domain What’s currently happening: I have a popup that a user must first create a Domain record, and then they copy that record to the junction object (using a multiple action that creates a new row pulling the Domain and Opportunity). An Opportunity cannot be closed won without at least one junction object. When they’ve added the record to the junction object, it is still visible. This can be confusing if there are many domains. If I refresh the page, it works how I want it to. The Domains that have been added to the junction object are no longer visible on the Domain object. What I’d Like to Happen: The moment someone clicks the green up arrow (this adds the Domain on the bottom table to the junction table on the top), that record is no longer visible on the Domain table. I have a calendar popup. Within the popup, a page title component with context Id = Id.When I run an action sequence from a button on that page title component, I would expect the actions to obey the context, so “Mark row(s) for deletion” would only mark the context row for deletion, not all rows.Incidentally, any way to get those rows back?
We have a model based on Case and one of the fields is RecordTypeId. When a case is created it is a Record Type “New” and then the operator changes it based on the details of the case to another record type. Problem is that the field value is a link that if you click you get the “insufficient privileges salesforce” message, even when the user is an admin. If you click the little “edit” icon it works as it should by bringing up the list of available record types. We have hidden the link using CSS but if you click the name of the record type the problem still exists. Thanks in advance.

I’m using a custom renderer to calculate the value for a field based on several other fields (Call them A, B, C). I’d like this field to update dynamically when A B or C is changed.I put the field in a field editor and gave it a unique id ‘avr.’I’ve set up the field renderer, and it works the first time.Then, I set up model actions on the model that contains A B and C, such that if one of them is updated, I run the following skuid snippet:skuid.component.getById(‘avr’).render();But the field editor with id=‘avr’ is not re-rendering. At least, the custom renderer doesn’t run when I update A B or C.What’s the best way to accomplish this?I’m basically trying to use skuid to create formula fields that update dynamically in the UI without requiring a save.
We have a situation where we have a tab set that displays a profile for a record, and then many other tabs that give details. The users want to be able to hit the browser refresh and have it stay on the last tab. That functions perfectly, however, when the user first loads the profile from another page, they want the “Last Tab” ignored and to always start at the Main Tab.I was thinking of trying something around looking for where the users came from and then setting the Tab, or a parameter I could change, but I wasn’t sure if someone else had a potential solution to this need.Thanks!
Using the Skuid search, I can find a record that includes an apostrophe. For example, I can find a contact O’Brien. However, if I apply a filter to the search, I get no results, even if the record should be included in that filter. In fact, going back to the “all” version of the filter still doesn’t return results.Can someone else confirm?Any ideas here? It appears to be a bug.Thanks,Seth
I am trying create custom tags by creating a contact master-detail relationship and a lead lookup relationship. I have the custom object made. How can I this as a feature to the lead and contact detail pages. Please let me know how this is possible
We have a single Model Page we are using for a Visualization. We set some conditions to limit the data, very similar to a report we run. It is a Column Chart based on a single series that shows the average time of completion per State. We limit the records to the last 90 days, so for the Category (which is now by state) we would like to see by state for each month. So for North Carolina for instance, we would see what it is for each calendar month. Jan, Feb, Mar, etc. and so on.
Most of the examples here are based on standard salesforce objects, and we use mostly custom objects and so trying to take an example for populating the address on a new contact from an account and apply to our scenario is somewhat confusing for newbees to the product. We have a custom object called Service_Type__c and we have a related list for cases. UI looks great works great, etc. but when we create a new case from the Service, none of the fields populate. When we create a new case from the table, the related service ID does populate, critical to linking the case to the service. My question is simply, how do we pre-populate more than just the service ID when creating a record inline? We have a field on the Service called Client Number that we would like to fill when inline creation of documents?Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
