Why do some form workflows include the "Code to embed form" field and others do not?

I have noticed that randomly some form-based workflows do not include the "Code to embed form" field when they are published. Indeed, I think I have seen this field appear later for some forms.Is there a way to control this?  Why not always include the embed code? I have a new form I need to embed and there is no embed code.

Reoccurring email

Hello,I'm looking to send an email 2x per year on Jan 15th and July 15th, following a reminder email 15 days after if the task is not completed. This workflow will repeat each year on those dates.I don't know what logic to us first. Can someone please advise what I should use or do?

NWC form data lookup - Create a o365 item

HiI have a sharepoint 365 list with a lookup column. I want to create a list item from data captured in a NWC form. Both the NWC form field and the 365 column, lookup to the same list. When i go to create an item with the data captured in the NWC form, the field for the lookup column in the o365 list is expecting an integer. I've tried finding the ID of the lookup with no success.   Not exactly sure how to get the data captured in the NWC lookup field into the o365 list lookup field.  Any suggestions?

New My Nintex - start form 'File downloads are disabled' error

In the new My Nintex I'm getting an issue with 'File downloads are disabled - Administrators can enable file downloads.'. I have an NWC start form with attachments.I then assign a task.In the new My Nintex when I view the assigned task, then on the right I click on the start form, then try to view the attachment on the start form I get the above message. I can't find anywhere in the NWC admin settings to turn on file downloads. Any ideas?

Regex action to substitute for Substring

I need to parse a string in a workflow.  Basically, I need to get a substring out of it by position, just like Substring function does.  Since I cannot use functions in the workflow, I am trying to use the Regular Expression action instead.  Still, I have been struggling to get the correct pattern.  Can someone recommend a regex pattern that would substitute a substring function?  Say to get a part of string from 5th to the 10th position. Thank you.

Trying to implement Get Tasks action

I have a workflow where I added a Get Tasks action on a parallel path with Assign Task action.  The Get Task action stores the results in an Object data type.  I can access Object.Tasks, but I cannot figure out how to get individual properties of each task.  If I use Get Item from Collection action, that stores the results in a Text type, so then I cannot get to individual properties. I need to know how to access the ID, Name etc properties of each task. Regards.

Is it possible to connect NWC Data Lookup control to SQL Server

Hi, In my projects I need to auto-populate my Start Event form with data.  The only two ways that I know so far it is possible is: first by using getQueryStringParameter function, and second by using a Data Lookup control.  With the second method I can load my drop down list from a SharePoint, and also filter the response with a local variable.  I was hoping that there was a way of doing similarly from SQL Server. Is it possible to achieve? Regards.

How to - Navigate to a Page section by use of a button (or anything simular)

Hello All,We have a pretty large NWC form, which uses page sections. The client would like to have an additional button (For Save) that navigates to the last section, which has the "submit" button.Thanks in advance. -Bradley

ServiceNow Update Record Action Forbidden fields

I am looking to see if anyone is familiar with the servicenow actions in NWC. I have a connection working and am trying to update a record in one of the tables. There is an option to modify some fields but when I try to do that, the fields are 'forbidden'. I can't find anything in docs or in the community about it to I thought I would ask directly if anyone knows what that means/any meaningful info about the servicenow actions. I have tried with a few System IDs, one that I am trying to work with and a few that I know exist from a query records action. When I try to run the workflow(normally or testing), it fails on the update action with a JSON parse error.

Nintex Workflow Cloud Blob URL Expiration

I have a component workflow in NWC that I am calling from a custom web app via Web APIs. Part of this request involves uploading files to NWC, which returns a blob URL from Nintex (then that URL is passed to the component workflow and used as an email attachment).   All of this works as expected, I just want to know how long the blob URL can be used before it expires.

Create New List, copy items and attachments, 60 plus columns.

Nintex Community.   I am trying to create a cloud workflow (most likely a site workflow) that will create a new List and title it with a prefix such as “Archive-“ then the date. The list that I need to create has 60 plus columns. Then I need to move the Items and attachments from the original list over to the newly created list. The list resides on SharePoint Online so right off the bat there are restrictions on Cloud actions dealing with Lists with more than 12 columns.Any help would be appreciated as I need to somehow automate this process.

Assign a task to multiple users is case sensitive for emails (or MyNintex tasks is)

Hi everyone,  Thought I would let you know of an issue I've just run into.It looks like the 'Assign a task to multiple users' action is case sensitive. We just started using the multi user task action and some users reported that the task was not visible on the mynintex / tasks page. (So this might be a Mynintex / tasks page issue too) Some of our users have mixed case in their primary email address in Azure AD.eg AUser@domain.com When we go to NWC Settings / User management.All user emails are listed as lower case (eg auser@domain.com) regardless of how it displays in Azure AD.If I use the traditional 'Assign a task' action to this user.On the Automate / tasks page it shows the assignee email as lowercase auser@domain.com If I use the new 'Assign a task to multiple users', on the automate / tasks page it shows as the display case - AUser@domain.com When this user logs in they only see the tasks from the assign a task action where it is lowercase for their email. When I test with a use

JSONpath implemention in NWC. How to get string length

Hi,We have been playing a lot with JSONpaths and found that these could be applied to collections as well, which made getting items from collections a lot easier. We have a need for the JSONpath function .length, but it seems that NWC doesn't support his, even though it is fully supported when trying this on https://jsonpath.com/For example, JSON ["hi","world"] with path $.[1:2].length returns [5] on jsonpath.com (the length of the second string value), but when trying this directly in NWC and on https://us.nintex.io/tools/v1/actions/queryjson, it returns null.I have tried this with the example from the Nintex queryjson help as well:  Can someone please enlighten us what the difference is between the JSONpath implementation on jsonpath.com (which I believe to be generic), and the specific JSONpath implementation in NWC? On a sidenote, can someone please advise how I can get the length of a string in NWC workflow (and other such functions, which are simple in .NET)? Thanks!

Workflow initiator data blank

I've just developed a workflow form that, once submitted, has a Branch by condition step to determine which one of two different emails to send. Both emails go to the workflow initiator but the text in them is different. But here's the problem: when I insert the Email variable from the Workflow initiator object, it's blank. (I verified this with a Log to instance details action that occurs immediately after form submission. The first name and last name of the initiator are blank as well.)This is happening when I'm running workflow testing. So I know the initiator has a valid email address, because I'm the initiator! And this function works fine in other workflows I've developed.I don't know if it's relevant or not, but this form contains a "save and continue" action in it. The user can enter data into a repeating section, save it, then return later to add another row to the repeating section (repeating this up to the maximum of 50 rows if necessary).So why would the data from the Workf

Prevent Duplicate Input Data

Hi Everyone, Here is the simulation case1) We have a SharePoint Online List. Let's say "Membership"2) And we provide 3 columns : Name, Email, Phone3) Create Submission Form using Nintex Workflow Cloud with 3 fields (Name, Email, Phone)4) For example, we entry the name with "Kenny", email with "KennyCassandra@outlook.com", Phone with "+628123456789"And the data will be stored in SharePoint Online List "Membership" The question is..Is it possible to prevent another same input data?If there's any user that input "KennyCassandra@outlook.com", the system will give a validation message. Thanks in advance!

Update an item at the end of a column

I am trying to update a status of an item by using the Update Items function under Sharepoint connector. However, the whole column is affected every time a new entry comes in.    How can I specify that the item will only update the last entry in the list?

Repeating sections - how to get the data

My question is about how to get at the data you caputure in a repeating section in NWC. I know this is a new control, so there may be no answers yet, however in O365 you write the data from a repeating section control to a Multi-lines of text field then parse the XML with with a 'Query XML' action to pull that apart. However, in NWC the repeating section seems to store the data as a Collection/array, not as XML. So, I would have thought you could use Collection operations on that. Not so it would seem: I can use 'Count items in collection' to get the number of sections, but I have tried and failed to use 'Get item from collection' to get values. Not that I can see how that would work anyway - what type of variable do you use to store different data types (say, text and a number) from a section? In case I'm missing something here I'd love to hear from someone to let me know. As it is, I can't see what use repeating sections in NWC have if I can't do anything with the data captured.

Document Generation in Workflow cloud

hi everyone I am having a bit of a brain meltdown, so please pardon my stupidity if this is an easy one.  I have an approval workflow, in which i want a document saved from a template which is taking its answers from a NWC form.  I have the generate document action, which stores the file in a collection but from there i am trying to save the file somewhere (have tried a SP doc library and google drive) but get a JSON error message.  I then tried to send the file via email to myself and all i got was a note saying that i have used some of my allocation for doc gen.  Am i doing something stupid?  Does the file get saved somewhere, and do i need to use the sav
