How to Check current system user whether present in list or not

Hi all, i',m using K2 designer with SharePoint.I need to check the current login user is present inI need to check the current login user is present in a list.(List contain People picker column)Please help me...Thanks in advance...

Collapse/Expand Menu Items

Hi all, I have a 'main menu' which contains a list of all available smartforms that a user can access. As this list is growing I would like to be able to collapse and expand the list depending on which header they fall under. Is this possible? Screenshot attached, eg. all items are collapsed until the heading 'Facilities' is clicked which expands out the items. Thanks.

List View/Drop Down - Duplicate Values

Hello, I am trying to design a list view which has a drop down list as a source. I want to prevent the user from selecting the duplicate values from the drop down. I want to do it in one of the following ways 1. If the value is selected and added to the row, and the user goes to the next row the same value should not appear 2. If the value is selected and added to the row, and if the user selects the same value then they should get an error message saying that "Duplicate values cannot be selected" Have been trying to do it through the rules implementation on List view, Form etc, but I have not been able to find a way yet. Any help will be much appreciated.

K2 new item not showing

HI,i have a problem: from two days when i add new items they not showing in the category page.The items are ok because i duplicate the existing one and the category setting should show 100 leading in 3 columns but i have 3 items and only one is showing.The new 2 items i add are like invisible and when i try to count with an alert it say only one item.I use a custom template for showing items, i attach it.I try to add new item in other category with the same template but it's the same.Maybe can be a conflict with K2Store?Inspecting element show no error. How can i solve it? Thanks

Creating Views without a Smartobject

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?    In many of the K2 tutorials, we see that most of the views are created off of a smartobject. AKA they are dependant and attached to a smartobject.     However, it doesn't cover the other option, which is to create a view without linking a smartobject to it.      Yes. You can create a view without linking it to a smartobject. You can even delete the smartobject you created a view on! And sometimes, this might be fairly unintuitive, so hopefully, this article can help shine some light on the matter.      HOW DO WE DO THIS?     Below, you can see a picture of this. Instead of right-clicking on a smartobject -> "Generate View", instead we right click on a file / category (in my case, "Quote to Cash") and select "New View".           Then, you can proceed to fill out the following according to your needs.           Note that we do not need to link this to a smartobject, if we do not want to. K2 log to SQL Database or Log4Net Appender

HI,I wonder what are the options to create a custom log for K2. All applications in my company are in the same SQl Server and keeps Log4Net field structure. My first option is to use the "FileExtension" and connect to a SQL database like in this article: http://old.k2underground.com/blogs/blackbelt/archive/2008/04/16/logging-framework-made-easy.aspx but i dont see how to custom the fields like in Log4Net The second option is to create a Log4Net service broker and within K2 Forms or Workflows, send exceptions to the Log4Net database via my custome service broker. But, i cant see how to send exceptions othar than K2 server. Any ideas? It would be nice to have a Extension Log to a queue system or systems like elastic search :)

Comment Bubble For Smart Forms

Within SmartForms we have the ability to add comments to rules so we can annotate the logic being used in the rules. Is that little comment control able to be used in a Smart Form we develop?

Custom Membership Providers

Hi Community of K2 Users, We are currently in the early stages of using K2 in our environment.  We have many custom systems using a Custom SQL/ASP.NET membership provider.  We would like the communities thoughts on the integration of existing ASP.NET Membership Providers?  Has anyone implemented existing membership providers specifically OAUTH or ASP.NET providers? If so, what were the pain points?  Pros & Cons? How well does K2 handle the mixed mode providers?  Are the users stored in K2 Custom SQL User Manager tables?  Is an OAUTH provider a more manageable method of authentication?  How is the upgrade paths?  Any feed back would be appreciated. Thanks,JF

Is there a way to modify/change the workflow on a SmartStarter?

I downloaded the "Leave Request" SmartStarter and would like to change the workflow.  Instead of going to HR and then to the Manager, I'd like to remove HR altogether and have the form go straight to the manager.

how to append text in a control

hi, I am using K2 Designer for Sharepoint.I have a list of values in a single rule (eg.I have list groups used in  Sharepoint 2013 site ).when I mapped with output properties, it was displayed the last value of the group.I need to append each group name in a single control. Thanks in advance.... :)

K2 Smart form to PDF Conversion (with attachment field)

Hello All, We are in early stage of evaluating PDF converter for smart forms.Convert smart form to PDF and attachment fields as an attachment in PDF generated file. Strictly no InfoPath please conversion required.  Ourself ended with below three options1. Out of the box PDF Conversion componentConverts the form as required, but the attachment field in the forms is not created as an attachment in PDF. IS myself missing some configuration here? 2. Multilingual site with weird links

Hello friends, I'm trying to help a new client of mine which came to me with an exsisting website. The website is a multilingual site with K2 in it used for the cataloge. For some unkown reason, links are presented in some cases as they sould but on other cases they are presented very strangly.Here is an example for a propper link:http://gilpack.co.il/en/455-water-sampling-bottle-150ml-transparent-with-scaleAnd here's a sample of the weird link:http://gilpack.co.il/en/375 Can you please advice on how to fix this issue? Thank you in advance, Guy.

Unable to delete or add the line(column) on the table on smartforms

I have a problemwith delete or add the line(column) on the table of smartform. I tried to copy, move, Check Out, Check view. Nothing helps.Only one form!

Submit multiple forms at the same time

A manager will have a meeting with an employee about absences, they can submit one or multiple absences at any one time. I am able to set the form up so the manager can submit one form per absence but how do I allow them to add another form and save it under the one meeting? Thanks.

Check duplicate data entries in a list

We have a requirement that we need to check the duplicate entries in the list which has Add toolbar button and Delete toolbar button which is used to add and delete the entries to the list.On double click of the selected item in the list we can edit the same.When we click on add,the data doesnot go to the database,it goes when we click on the other button which at form level.so we are unable to check the duplicate entries made to the list before it goes to the DB.Can someone suggest what can be done to check the duplicate entries made before entering it to the DB. I have attached few snapshots which can provide a picture of our requirements. Thanks Vishal

Meeting Request

Hi, I need to create a form that captures the data needed to send a meeting request in K2.When clicking on a button send this should send the meeting request to outlook or gmail. Is there any way to do this without using the k2 exchange? Regards.

Displaying an image from a Smartobject in a SmartForm control?

I can attach images and store them in a SO. I can also pull the list of these images in a list view but is there a way to retrieve an image by ID from an SO and display it in a control in a Smartform? I can retrieve it in an attachment control but it shows just a thumbnail and the name of the file and you have to click on it to open it. Can it be configured to display just the image?
