HI,

I wonder what are the options to create a custom log for K2. All applications in my company are in the same SQl Server and keeps Log4Net field structure.

My first option is to use the "FileExtension" and connect to a SQL database like in this article:

http://old.k2underground.com/blogs/blackbelt/archive/2008/04/16/logging-framework-made-easy.aspx

but i dont see how to custom the fields like in Log4Net

The second option is to create a Log4Net service broker and within K2 Forms or Workflows, send exceptions to the Log4Net database via my custome service broker. But, i cant see how to send exceptions othar than K2 server.

Any ideas? It would be nice to have a Extension Log to a queue system or systems like elastic search :)

Hi  @andrescolo,

Thank you for logging this question, I believe it would be a good idea to log this as a support ticket, so that this can be logged as a feature request.

Kind regards,

Percy
