I can attach images and store them in a SO. I can also pull the list of these images in a list view but is there a way to retrieve an image by ID from an SO and display it in a control in a Smartform? I can retrieve it in an attachment control but it shows just a thumbnail and the name of the file and you have to click on it to open it. Can it be configured to display just the image?

Hi, if you use the Image attachment control, it will allow you to preview the image on the smartform without having to click on it.
