Content Deliveries Visualforce Page

First of all, this is my first question on the Skuid Community (after lurking around finding answers to my other questions for the past several weeks) and I want to thank everyone on here for their valuable responses and ideas! I am working with Salesforce Content and am wondering how to integrate a Skuid page for Content Deliveries in to Salesforce. I don’t see any VisualForce pages to override for Content and I am wondering if there is another way to do this? Content/Files are a big part of the customizations I am doing at the moment and if anyone has more resources on how to integrate Skuid with these components I would be extremely grateful!

Blank Model Names that cannot be removed in Mobile

Hello All!So I modified my xml - added a few additional pages from another skuid page. And I think I might have done something wrong. In the model section, I’m 2 blank lines - models with no names. When I click on them I cant edit or remove them. I just have 2 blank models that I cant remove or click or have any interaction with.

[Skuid Mobile]how to navigate on pages inside the page panel using js

i need to specify a record type design for each record type. I can’t seem to do it just using the builder. Already have an initial solution for this, by URL redirect to a visual force page(the VF page handles the logic for record type assignment depending on the record type name), but when the page is transferred from sandbox to prod, we will need to change the domain of each URL redirect which is pretty heavy. So i thought of using JS, to handle the logic of redirecting a page to another page. i already manage to get the record type name and Id of the record i clicked. i can’t seem to find out on how will i be able to jump from a page to another page.

efficient conditional rendering based on counting records in many models

I need my page to know whether X number of records in a certain status exist across a several different (generally related and/or child) objects. For instance, a user should not be able to click the submit button on an application (i.e., it should be disabled) unless there are zero related records in the wrong status, at least one related record in the right status, and at least two of the right kind of contacts. Standard rollup summary fields aren’t really a sustainable solution, and in some cases I won’t be able to use them anyway since the relationships aren’t always master/detail.Seems like I can create a model for each criteria and use “has data rows” to control the rendering of the button. Would it be helpful to use aggregate models in this kind of situation? Is this a use case for the “rollup” grouping method (and how would that work)? Would doing so potentially reduce the number of separate queries/models the page would execute? The latter is my most significant concern, I supp

The entity is locked for edting

I have a skuid page as an override for a custom object tab. There are two models on the page: one for the main custom object, and one for a detail custom object that is displayed in a drawer. The main save button is configured to save both models. When I try to use the “Mass update” for the top level object, or simply modify two top level rows at once, and then try to save, I get an error: “the entity is locked for editing” 3 out of 4 rows failed to update in the mass update test. All rows failed when making manual edits on multiple rows at once. In the scenarios above, the drawers with the detail object are not involved. I can save changes for all of the detail rows for one top level record without an error, but if I try to update detail rows on more than one top level record, I get the same error. Rows Adopted into Model Not Saving

I am using 2 models (ModelA, ModelB) referencing the same SF Object.  ModelA is used with a field editor to create new records and ModelB is used with a table to show all of the records that were created.  The Adopt Rows into Model action is being called from a button.This works as expected with all of the new records showing up in my table.  However when I save ModelB nothing happens.Do I need to do something to ModelB after I adopt the rows so it will save?

Deactivate ALL Filterable Conditions when switching tabs

I have an Opportunities Model that I’m using amongst various tabs.  I have conditions enabled when a user views certain tabs. Right now, I have to manually say to disable each condition that SHOULDN’T be displayed on those tabs.  How would I go about disabling all filterable conditions in one swoop versus manually adding each deactivation? As I add more filterable conditions, I’m having to remmber which tabs I need to add the new conditions to or if needed disable the new condition.  Definitely not scalable!

Division - Specified Width Line Breaks

I’m trying to work with a ‘specified width’ Division in a Responsive Grid with extra long text. The problem I’m having is that the template/merge field I’m displaying is a long string and instead of displaying on a second line, I get jumbled text on top of each other. Is there way to put a space or line break to display properly? Using ‘Fit to Content’ is not an option. Below is a snapshot

issue after updating to Latest Release

Not sure if it’s related to Skuid, but this happened right after I updated to Banzai Update 8We use a CTI extension(click to dial) and it has worked fine until nownow it won’t appear and looking in console I see this errorRefused to display ‘https://voapi.8x8.com/salesforce/index.html?type=NC&sfdcIFrameOrigin=https%…om&nonce=31fa63f…’ in a frame because it set ‘X-Frame-Options’ to ‘SAMEORIGIN’.And wondering if Skuid Update could possibly have anything to do with it, or just a coincidence it started right after updating…Please let me knowThank you,

Quickbooks REST API

We tried to get data from Quickbooks. But since it’s Oauth1 we noticed, that can be quite a pain. Is there a way to get the label of an active table filter via merge syntax?

I would really like to use merge syntax like {{filtername.currentfilterlabel}} in a column heading in a table, so that I could have a column where the heading updates with the filter. My specific use case is an aggregate table where one column responds to filters and others don’t because it’s complicated. The table defaults to All Time, and that’s what’s in my column header. But I’d like to add a filter of Last Month, Last Year, Last 3 Years, etc, and have the column header update. Would be so cool.Maybe you could actually use the current conditions on a model, and maybe there’s some javascsript that could look at the conditions and when they change update a UI-Only field to a certain value, like “Last 3 Years”, and then you could use that UI-Only field as the source for your column header. If anyone gets that to work I’ll send you a bean and cheese taco.

picklist field showing old values, field dependencies not working

Seems like a page caching issue, but I’ve cleared browsing data, used Incognito Mode, used a different browser, and still I have a pop-up that creates a new row on an object that has three dependent picklists. The middle one is not rendering properly based on the top-level one. In addition, that picklist is showing one picklist value that has been replaced and deleted. Any ideas? Page caching is off, server-side processing is on.

Make 'filter' field look like a table filter

I’m using a ui-only multipicklist field as a filter for a calendar’s grouping model. Next to that, I’m using a table with a regular filter for the calendar’s events model. I’d like the ‘field’ filter to look like a typical table filter. I’ve messed with the css and kid of got there. Has anyone successfully make a multipicklist field look and act like a multipicklist filter? I’m missing the dropdown arrow, and the wrapping doesn’t work the way users will expect. Instead of modifying all of the field css, would it be better/easier to remove the field classes and add the filter classes to the field with jquery on pageload?

I’m trying to combine the progress indicator and @Thimo’s ‘better upload’ components under a single ‘community’ component pack. But I’m only getting the upload component to lead in the builder’s component list. Update field in wizard when another field is updated in wizard

I’ve looked around for an answer to this, but can’t seem to find a solution that works for me. I’m trying to update a field on the 3rd step of a wizard with data that was selected on the 2nd step of the wizard. Both are in tables. I have a wizard that takes an existing opportunity and creates a Sales Order. On the 2nd step of the wizard, I have a lookup field called “Ship_To”. The “Ship_To” field allows the user to select the shipping location from the account selected. On the 3rd step of the wizard I have a field named “Packaging_Notes” that I’d like to update once a “Ship_To” location is selected on the 2nd step. I can’t get the Packaging Notes field to update to the correct value after the Ship_To location is selected. Can I do this with action framework or do I need to do snippet? Thank you for any help.

Can you run a custom field renderer on a template field in a table?

I have a custom field renderer I like that compares the value of a given field with a benchmark value field and renders the cell on a table red if the value is unfavorable to that of the benchmark value. Now I’m trying to pull in data from another model into the table, and I’d like to use the same custom field renderer to compare the value of this new field to my benchmark and render some stuff if different. BUT, there’s no place to put my field renderer in a template field. I tried to hack the xml by adding snippet=“valueHighlight” to my template field in the xml, but no luck. Are there any ways to do this?

What to use as Price Book Entry ID" on a new Order Item"

I am building an order entry page. It creates a new order ok and I then have a search box on a table to find suitable products. I want a selected product to be added as an Order Item and have designed an action that creates a new record on the order item object but cant find the correct field from the selected product to enter as “Price Book Entry ID”? Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Can't get my REST call to work

Hey guys, I’ve been trying to find a solution for some time but still no luck… Here’s my issue : I’m trying to have my new Model based on a REST GET method to Atlassian’s Jira API but can’t get it to work. (It works well with BitBucket API) I set up the new Model Service, Remote Site Settings in Salesforce as well (see below) : I even checked that this request works with another tool, everything is good with the API and the URL I use (see below) : But I’m getting the error "1. Error retrieving metadata for Model(s) associated with Data Source ‘JIRA’. Please check Models’ properties to ensure they are set correctly. Mass action to update different fields depending on a condition

Hello,I’m looking for a way to mass update a field on rows selected via mass actions, but depending on another field’s value, to update a different fieldExample:If Type__c = ‘New’  I want to update the field ‘Date_Paid__c’ (date/time) to “today”If Type__c= ‘Existing’ I want to update the field ‘Date_Paid_Existing__c’ (date/time) to “today”my table may contain a mix of both type, and we do not want to have to do it in 2 different actions.I would like to be able to accomplish this from 1 Mass action.Probably can be done with a snippet, so if anyone has ever attempted something similar, please let me know how, as i’m a JS noob 😦Thank you

pass parm to ui-field

I am passing “Member_Id_CR_Open={{{$Model.Member.data.0.Id}}}&ViewCR=Member” in an include field.  I want to use {{$Param.ViewCR}} to create a UI-Field.I have tried creating a formula {{$Param.ViewCR}} but it shows nothing.  How do I use a parm in a UI-Field?

Unable to use UI Only FIeld in Reference Field Lookup Filter

When specifying Lookup Filters on a field, if “Another Field From Row” is selected for “Content”, the UI Only Fields on that row are not available to be selected. Note - If you choose “Field From Another Model”, the UI only fields are available for selection.
