Hey folks,

we are currently planning our K2 Workspace- and App-Structure and thinking of the design, permissions, forms etc.

Currently we are trying to setup workspaces and their links, but is it kinda a design failure that you cant limit permissions? We want users to be able to access a workspace, but not to see the links to forms they are not permitted to.

Am I doing sth wrong or is it just not possible?

Is there a alternative?

You can set permissions on the category or forms in question so that even if they happen to know the link to it, they won’t be able to run it by using the authorization framework as per:

Thank you for your reply @TinTex .

But thats not what I’m talkin about. We know that we can set permissions for forms. Its like we want to launch one or multiple workspaces with different links. The linkss hould only be shown, if you are permitted to access the forms they are pointing at. Otherwise the usability sucks imo.

I see.  Unfortunately, this is currently not possible.  There is a similar idea on https://ideas.nintex.com in which you can upvote: https://ideas.nintex.com/ideas/IDEA-I-6072

Is there an alternative?

As an alternative you can use the K2 Menu System or similar techniques to create a custom menu system that you can apply the necessary security to your menu system with.

Hi @aevwl-rich
Have you tried NicS’s alternative?
