I’ve been dealing with a recurring problem for the last few weeks where the Pages page in Skuid fails to load when accessed through my Salesforce Production environment. I’ll click Pages from within Salesforce and I end up with a white screen that loads no further than that. I get the following error message in my browser console:

skuid__SharedRuntimeJS:2 Uncaught (in promise) r {_e: Error

at U (<a href="https://sungage--skuid.na110.visual.force.com/resource/1591836876000/skuid__SharedR…,">https://sungage--skuid.na110.visual.force.com/resource/1591836876000/skuid__SharedR…,</a> name: "DataError", message: "Failed to read large IndexedDB value", inner: DOMException: Failed to read large IndexedDB value}

If I clear my browser history and cookies, I can avoid this error for a day or two, but it always comes back. I’m currently running Skuid version 12.4.8. Any ideas how to resolve this?

Hi Eugene, you can resolve this issue by clearing out your cookies and indexedDB entries as explained in these community posts:

This issue has been resolved as of version 12.4.14 and above. Install links for the latest versions of Skuid are available on the Skuid Releases page.

Best practices for upgrading can be found in Upgrading Skuid on Salesforce. As a reminder, Salesforce does NOT allow reverting back to prior versions of managed packages. Skuid always recommends installing new versions in a non-business critical sandbox environment to test all mission critical functionality before installing into a production environment. We also recommend that you update out of date themes after you upgrade. Please let us know if you continue to encounter any problems with this issue after upgrading.
