Active Directory User account name and email address issue in Task Assignment Notification

Hi, I have an AD account name called user1 and domain is test.com. Email address that i configured in AD is email1@test.com. However when task is assigned via workflow, task is successfully assigned to user1 and listed in work list. however email notification couldn't be received. After checking, k2 sent the email to user1@test.com. I have another account user2 and email is user2@test.com. The account received the notification after task assignment.  May I know how K2 retrieve the email address from the AD user account. If account name and email address are different, k2 send the email to accountname@test.com. But it doesn't send to email address that is configured in AD.  When I ran "Get User Detail" method under UMUser smartobject using SmartObjectTester tool for user1, email address is user1@test.com. When i ran "Get Users", email address is email1@test.com. Seem like workflow get the email address from "Get User Detail" method but it is wrong email. how can i point the workflow to

If And Else Condition execute together at same time

I am facing an issue of ( If & Else ) Rule, which is execute after parameter change. Conditions as below.  /-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- if TempLinkNo does not contain a value        then on Listname SmartObject, execute its Get List Items method ( configure )else   then transfer data (configure) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------/ 1.) if TempLinkNo contain value then only else is working And if TempLinkNo does not contain value then both are working IF & Else  2.) When i remove this rule and again create new same like this then condition is working properly Either TempLinkNo is contain Value or Not.But After  1 or 2 Hours this condition will automatically stop working properly  and again it will be come same as before condition, mean IF & Else start working together Either  condition is True or False. I am facing this

Start workflow/Activity as k2Admin instead of Originator

Hello, We have an activity which creates PDF static copy of form and saves it to sharepoint list. But the problem is, sharepoint does not allow all the users to upload the document. Due to security reasons, we do not want to give access to sharepoint list to all the users.Is there any way we can start workflow/activity as k2 Admin ? We tried the following method:1.Going to service tester2.Edit the service instance.3. Using different authentication mode. But this change will reflect in all the workflow. And we do not want to start all the workflows with same user. Appriciate any help, thank you.

10702 An error occurred in the Workflow Reporting Service service instance. Workflow Reporting SO Se

Hi Experts, I need help here!! I am struggling with this error since last 4 days. I have enabled SMO rest service but service wasnt getting enabled. In log I am getting error "1Invalid archive type" . I thought there is something wrong with the service instances based on suggestion on this forum. Later I found issues with "workflow reporting services" and "Workflow Services" service instance. I am getting error "10702 An error occurred in the Workflow Reporting Service service instance. Workflow Reporting SO Service: An serviceobject with the same name already exists [Rpt_XXXXX_XX_Workflow]" on refreshing them. I have deleted service instances and smartobjects but getting same issue while reregistering them. I have checked all the tables under K2Categories and K2SmartBroker but couldnt find anything with name  [Rpt_XXXXX_XX_Workflow]. Appreciate any help!!! Vivek

Problem to run registration vizard of K2 ver. 4.7

I have a problem when attempts to run registration vizard of K2I changed the settings on the server from SSL (https) to http. Now I get an error »Thread 1: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 192.168.0.160:443 » Where 192.168.0.160 is IP from k2 and Sharepoint server. Any idea how this could be solved?

How to apply javascript code to a TextBox control in k2 smartforms?

Hi All, I have a multiline of TextBox having the contents retrieved from a column in a Sharpeoint list seperated with comma. I want to apply the below javascript code to split the lines , but how to pass the K2 smartform TextBox content to the javascript as input to the code? var TextBoxcontent=TextBox1.text; //How to take the textbox value?var numlistNewLine = TextBoxcontent.split(',').join(''); (My textbox content is something like this "1,4,6,7,3,34,34,634,34,1,4,6,7,3,34,34,634,34")

Having an issues assigning permissions

I have just installed drawloop for the 30 day trial.  I create a package and can run it no problem.  We I move to a users I have added them to the users area of drawloop admin and also added the drawloop permission sets.  When I click on the button to generate the DDP  it starts and then I get an error e8e88b93-99c0-4806-820a-734a9d490ba6. this is when its starts to loop the document. Any help would be appreciated Thanks

how can I start the workflow manually in office 365? I don't see the option.

In previous versions, we could see link to start the workflow manually but I could not find the same in office 365. I need to schedule a workflow daily which I need to start manually. Any help would be appreciated.

How can I print an entire form when using panels

I'm using panels and javascript to hide/show certain panels to create the "page effect" as described in articles here. But when using the Print to PDF or browser Print options I only get the current visible panel? Can I add a button and some javascript to reference the entire form or use some other technique?

Loading Picture from SmartObject

I have a form which shows the name and the signiture of the entered user.The signitures are stored in a smartobject. whenever i load an image, it appeares as a link  instead of an image.

When does the Workflow Tasks List get created?

I've just added Nintex Workflow to a site and I'm adding a new workflow to a library in the site, however when I come to publish to workflow I get an error "Error opening a workflow. Value cannot be null. Parameter name: input". Upon further investigation there is no Workflow Tasks list. Is this a list I have to create manually?

Forms Dashboard for the users

Is there a dashboard where the users can access instead of typing the runtime URLs?  If so, is it possible that the user only have access to the forms that he has permission?  Thanks in advance!

Smartforms - The configuration has been adjusted automatically.

Getting this warning when going into a "navigate to form view and execute its load method". K2 Designer - Powered by K2 blackpearlThe configuration has been adjusted automatically. Mappings were found that are no longer valid for the context. These mappings have been removed. Save these changes or they will be lost. So i accept the adjustments, save the form with FINISH. I then go back into the form and the message is back again. Just sick off K2 right now, i've spending 95% off my time just finding bugs for K2 and troubleshooting, the package and migration tool is sooooo bad that i'm even contemplating creating my forms from scratch.....

Error 30051 - Item no Found

Dear k2 Community, Few weeks ago we developed (with K2 designer)  a workflow containing an endorsement step. At some point, our HR asked us to replace it with an approval step... Instead of modifying it in k2 designer, we exported/imported it in K2 studio. In the end, we successfully manage to do that but now from times to times i'm getting the error below in my event viewer: 30051 The item '[WorkflowsAttendanceRecord Workflow_Endorsement]Endorsement' could not be found while describing the item 'urn:SourceCode/SmartForms'. I triple checked all forms > I can't find a reference to our former endorsement step.  In my workflow, the only place where i can find a reference to the endorsment step is in a data field called ProcessXML under my flow.  Is this what is causing the issue?> If yes shall i remove those data fields (InputXML, ProcessGuid, ProcessXML)?> If no what could cause this problem? Thank you,Seb (CE.Help)

Workflow O365 Query User Profile action won't run

Hello Nintex world I am trying to recreate an on premise workflow in Office 365 and I am stuck. It is a very simple workflow that runs on a registration list and sends an email notification to the person who registered, which is in a people field. It is the Query User Profile action that I am having issues with. I have tried several different ways of inputting my username and password in the fields (I have Site Collection Admin access) but every time the workflow suspends and it complains about that. Here are the three different errors I got depending on the format I put the username in as along with a screenshot of the action. Any input would be much appreciated. I am a major n00b when it comes to O365 Workflows.

Populate a Display List when selecting a Radio Button List

Hello guys. I need that when a user selects an option from a Radio button list (Which in this case, it's going to contain name and last name), a display list is going to show all the info of the selected option stored in a smartobject along with a label that contains the name.  Here's an example of what I need:  Is there another option that I can use for another control? Like a Display list? Thanks in advance.

Able to Create SQL SmartObjects but Can't Execute Methods

I have a distributed environment in which I've created a SQL service instance which connects to an external SQL db (not on same server as K2 db).The issue I'm having is that I am able to create SmartObjects based on the service instance (can see the table columns etc in smartobject tester), but when I attempt to execute the methods, I receive an error message from SQL server:ERROR: Named Pipes Provider: Could Not open a connection to SQL Server [5]OLE DB provider "SQLNCLI11" for linked server "dc-sql" returned message "login timeout expired"OLE DB provider "SQLNCLI11" for linked server "dc-sql" returned message "A network-related or instance-specific error has occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. K2 items tab not working in Go Daddy server.

Hi,I just migrated my website http://www.synergizglobal.com from localhost to the GoDaddy server. I'm facing a problem with K2 in the administrator panel.I can see the K2 articles, but when I try to open them to edit, I'm getting an error "JForm::getInstance could not load file"The same error is also coming up when I click on "New" to add a new K2 article.Can you please look into this and let me know?While installing my database, I actually got this error, which seems to be related to the indexing of K2 table. I'm not sure if this has got anything to do with the above error. Quick search on list view of longer number giving "overflowed an int. column" type error

Hi there.  Me again. So, on a list view, I would like my folks to be able to search for a document control number which is, for example, 170699600192. When they do, they get this error: "The conversion of the nvarchar value '170699600192' overflowed an int. column. How to populate a List view Column not attached to a SmartObject Property

Hi,    I have a SmartObject with 4 proprieties from which I have created a ListView with 4 colunms  I have then created one extra colunm. I would like this column to be populated using a Read or Load Method of another Smartobject which will use 2 fieds (of the original colunms) as input parameters.      To do so, I tried using a Data Label Control Column with expression. However Expression doesnt allow to execute SmartObjects Methods.  I have also tried using List Display Control Colunm but without success.     Please, Could you help me to find a solution.     Thanks a lot,     Regards,     Amazigh

Trying to take an item from list view and adding "1" to it

I have a text box and I'm looping through each item in my list view; In list view I have two fields - I have a sequence number and a book title. I want to take the last sequence number in list view and increment that number by 1 and store the results in a control called text box.
