how to Create Dynamic Recipients

i'm trying to create dynamic recipients, i'm doing what the k2 five guide about dynamic recipients.the result from the smarto bject create 3 user, but when assigning task only 1 user ( all user from the smart object become 1 user)

Error while deploying worklfow into K2 5.2

I am trying to deploy worklfow from one environment to other in 5.2. Autocomplete Strict Validation False at the Form or View level

This is more of a curiosity question as I'm not sure many people would encounter the need for this, but if someone has I'd love to hear of potential solutions.This KB https://help.k2.com/kb002089 discusses how to set AutoComplete Strict Validation to false, but it does it at the site level, which I think it's a little too overarching. I feel it should be available at the control level. Has anyone tried to allow non-existing values to be input in an AutoComplete control without having to disable it site-wide?Thanks

How to validate against an array or list

On a form, I have a list view that is populated by importing an Excel spreadsheet.  When a button is clicked I want to validate one of columns (in a for each loop) against values in an array (or list) from another smartobject.  How would this be accomplished?

Multivalue field missing in OData

Multivalue fields are not showing in Odata output. When I pull data through API Odata for BI report, I don't find my multivalue fields. Why is that?

Suppress Email Notifications - Specific Users

Hello All, Is there a way to suppress the email notifications for specific users/email IDs across all workflows (all user task emails).Currently in the workflow > Content browser > "Send Email task notification" property, disabling the property, will disable the task email for that user event, and wouldn't send task email notification for the tasks that get assigned. Example: Considering the below workflow. Let's say User 'A' & 'B' are Manager's and can recieve tasks when thier subordinates raise a request. However, the user 'A' doesn't want to recieve any emails on task assignment (Manager Approval User Event in this case), and will only see & make approvals from WorkSpace > Inbox. And the user 'A' don't want any email notification from for any of the workflows Is there a way, any of you have done something or come across to suppress the email notifcations to specific users.

Tutorial: Hide the Content and Filter Panes in Embedded Power BI Reports

Hello all! I have spent the last two days trying to find a way to hide the content pane (pages/tabs) and the filter pane in embedded Power BI reports using just the URL. Turns out it can be done! Take the URL and add one or both of these commands to the end based on what you wish to hide. This way you can embed Power BI Reports into your K2 Forms using the Content Control and have a clean presentation. Hiding the Content Pane: &navContentPaneEnabled=false Hiding the Filter Pane: &filterPaneEnabled=false Exmaple URL With Content and Filter Pane Off: https://app.powerbi.com/reportEmbed?reportId=<yourReportIDHere>&autoAuth=true&navContentPaneEnabled=false&filterPaneEnabled=false These commands can also be used in the HTML code for you embedded reports as well. help to generate the K2 connect object using K2 object designer

hi  experts, We have an urgent issue to generate a new version k2 connect service object that leverage SAP BAPI: BAP_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST.  But our service object designer is not working after upgrade from 4.7 to 5.0.Could you contact me if you have the object designer environment. we just need to generate the new object with a new parameter(BUS-AREA).thanks in advanced.

Add Generated Document As Attachment in Email

I am creating a simple workflow that generates a pdf with data from a submitted form. Then, it sends the document (or a link to the document) to a specified user. I am running into issues with the URL the "Document Generation" workflow action is outputting. Currently, it is adding additional """ whic makes the link incorrect (screenshot below). Also, you cannot add the link saved as a variable as an attachment in an email because it is a "collection" variable and not a hyperlink variable. I'm sure others have had a similar request before. Any help is appreciated!

SharePoint - Library - Delete Minor Versions SMO - Default View Item Limit

My workflow has a "Delete Minor Versions" SMO call. Input parameter to SMO is file name. This was working fine till now. We have loaded additional 1000 documents this weekened. Number of documents in library went over the default number of items limit on default view. It seems "Delete Minor Versions" SMO uses default view in the backend so now SMO is failing due to large number of items. We have temporarily increased the limit on view in SP but was wondering is there another way to handle it in K2 rather than increasing item threshold at SP level. Thanks

Radio Button List Control (Auto select if single value)

Hi All Does anyone know if this is possible (either using standard control or custom script)I have a radio button list control which is being populated via SmartObjectWhen I get multiple results the user has to select the required value (this works OK)However if only a single value is returned I'd like this to be autoselected so the user doesnt have to press anythingAny ideas of how to do this?thanksPaul

Extract data from SQL TAble storing File Attachments to a windows folder

I have attachments stored in a SQL table from File Attachment controls. I can attach them to e-mails, but due to customer requirements, I need to copy the attached files to a windows folder. How can I do this in a workflow?

Attach output of two different DDPs in email.

I have two templates, a Word and an Excel. The output of the Word template needs to be in PDF format and Excel template should keep the original format.After the document generation, I need to send out an email with the two outputs as attachment. Here's what I've tried:I added both the template to the same DDP but the delivery option doesn't allows me to set the output type on per template basis. I created two different DDPs but I can't seem to find a delivery option to get their outputs in the same email. Is there a way in which I can get the output from both the DDPs as attachment to a single email. Thanks

Hello,  New to Nintex here. I'm looking to dynamically add form fields based on  a number the user inputs. Say the user inputs that they have 4 entries they would like to add. I'd like to generate a form that then dynamically creates 4 form fields for entry.

Minimum Attachments Validation Not Working Always

Very strange inconsistency, as out of 500+ items, only 2 have been submitted without an attachment.  I have the attachment control set with a minimum attachment of 1.  I cannot replicate it.  Every time I attempt to submit the form without an attachment, whether it's a new form or one that had already been submitted without an attachment, I receive the appropriate error message.  Any ideas how people could bypass this? Browser settings maybe?

Nintex 2013 & Office365

Hi All,I am new to Nintex & SharePoint. I am using Nintex workflow 2013 in SP 2013. We are migrating to Office 365 soon . We have nintex 2013 worflow installed now.Do we need to upgrade Nintex 2013 license to use it in Office 365.Is cost involved while moving to Office 365?.If we are purchasing license for Nintex forms 2013 in current environment(SP13), can we upgrade the same license  for Office 365.Please advise.

Server Event & REST Calls

Hi Mates, In our K2 4.7 workflow we are make use of server event to halt the activity using below code.K2.Synchronous = false;Once the backed process has been done we call REST service from our internal tool and make activity complete by using below code in REST service. ServerItem svrItem = K2Conn.OpenServerItem("[serialNo]");svrItem.Finish(); Since server event is not supported by K2 FIVE, how we can we achieve this? This should be done in real time when our internal activity done by our other system. Thanks in Advance

attaching multiple attachments from a list view to an email

Hi,We have a form that includes an editable list view that includes attachments. So, for each form,  we will get a varying number of attachments.  In the workflow, at the very end we PDF the form and then attach that PDF to an email.  I would also like to include all of the attachments on the email.  But, it only ever attaches the very last attachment from the list.Is this possible?We do not use SharePoint. Thanks,Leah

How can I change the Appearance of the checkboxes in Nintex forms

Hello everyone,   I have been running into some issues trying to alter the appearance of the checkboxes nintex uses.  The checkboxes in the edit view of the form are easy enough to see, but the check-boxes in the view mode are grey boxes on a grey background and we need a higher contrast option.  I know checkboxes can normally be altered using css classes, but i am not sure how to do this for nintex.  This link basically discusses what i would like to do.  http://www.inserthtml.com/2012/06/custom-form-radio-checkbox/ Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Using a Relationship for a Checkbox of Yes or No

Hello. I am fairly new at using DocGen through Salesforce. I have a question on the DocGen form I am preparing. It is in relation to a yes or no checkbox.I already have the relationship built, with alias of Temps, in the DocGen package that has a filter set with two identification.I am not sure how to set up the export option to check "Yes" when the two filter conditions of the salesforce record status are true.Can someone guide me through this or point me to a video that shows how to set this up?Thank you so much!

Migrate in flight process instance to new server

I am moving an existing 4.6.11 K2 install to a new OS. The K2 version will remain 4.6.11. The database is also being moved to a new SQL server. I have read the docs on moving K2 to a new server, but they don't address in-flight processes. The option to allow the instances to complete on the old server is not possible. How can I update the in-flight processes to refelect the new K2 server (name) and the new URL's associated with it?

Email reminder can't change From address

I try to change From address in Email reminder but it don't have textbox "From address" to let me fill in the new Email address. I try to check in dropdown list near the subject but it don't have From address too. How I can change From address? or it can't change the From address in this section? My K2 version is 5.1  Thank for your help.
