Open form at top of form

I have a SharePoint list form which has many columns so the form is quite long. In SPO when I click on New the form opens at the bottom. How can I get the form to open at the top of the form?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards, Vera

Hello Vera,

If I understand correctly, I believe the issue you are seeing is related to the rich text field, and is a known issue:

A workaround exists, as described in the above KB article, that involves explicitly executing a Focus method on one of your controls as a part of the initialization of the form.

Hi Vera

Can you possible supply a screenshot on how this is displayed on the form ?

Do you mean how the "New" link is displayed. I attach two images.

One shows the "New" link on the SharePoint list.

The other is how the form opens and automatically goes to the bottom of the form.
