We are in the process of Upgrading a K2 V4.7  to 5.5. At the moment the k2 4.7 is installed on our company sql server. Our aim is to install a fresh installation of 5.5 on the same sql server. So we end up with two k2 Sql databases (different names example k2, K2config. Would this create any issues on installation? or anyone had experienced issues with this kind of installation ? Thanks

It should not be a problem, two differently named K2 databases on one SQL server. In several installations we have done this, although we usually have a separate SQL instance for each environment. Check here https://help.nintex.com/en-US/k2five/icg/5.5/Content/Install/Manual/K2/Inst-K2DB.htm.

I can confirm that this will not cause any problem at all.
