I am looking to display a map that will show a pin/marker for the coordinates that are inputted, which will eventually come from a list for there to be multiple markers, however I am struggling to even find anything to just add 1 simple marker.

I have scoured the forums and search engines but never seem to be able to find anything that can help.

Any help much appreciated.

Hi,

I had came across that one previously but unable to get it working so suspect it may need further information to get that one working which I am unsure of.

Thanks.

I've used this in the past - have you signed up for and got  valid API key?

You need to have a valid google maps key before it'll accept your requests.  https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/maps-static/get-api-key

Which you would append to the following expression from the article and then your requests will be accepted:

However what I would do is modify the expression to be a Concatenate so you can see the Url that is being built up more easily:

Looks like it wont work without adding in the Billing information/credit card.

Are you aware of any open/free alternatives?

Thank you.

Re: K2 Five - Map display marker coordinates (Google, Bing etc)

A quick google search reveals:

Never used it, not sure if it has a relevant API, but I should imagine you can.  Don't know if you need to provide billing details either.

Cheers.
