Just trying out the new K2 Five designer. How are the new advanced SmartObject works in the new K2 Five? Right now I am using K2 studio or Visual Studio to design advanced SmartObjects and one of the configuration step was "Add Service Method Link" where you can configure how are the methods being linked. I don't see this at all in the new designer nor in the new K2 guide. Am I missing anything here?

Thanks

Hi,

It's not possible to design SmartObjects in the new workflow designer, please check the following documentation:

https://help.k2.com/onlinehelp/k2five/userguide/5.0/default.htm#Create/SmartObjects/AdvancedSmartObjects.htm%3FTocPath%3DCreate%7CSmartObjects%7CAdvanced%2520SmartObjects%7C_____0

Hope this helps

Thanks for the link, but I don't see anywhere to add the Service Method Link where you can specify how the join works IE: Show all matching values, show all values in first object ... etc. Is that being handled differently in K2 Five?

Was this issue ever resolved? I am having the same problem where there is no tab for creating the service method links. When adding methods, the process goes straight from SERVICEOBJECT METHODS to FINISHED. In this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vyJ8qG1cn6M it shows a SERVICE METHOD LINKS tab before FINISHED. Why is our LINKS tab missing?

That video shows the feature in K2 Cloud. The feature will only be available in K2 Five (on prem) when 5.1 is released at the end of the month.

Thank you for your response! I've been spending way too much time trying to create a composite smartobject. I will try again when we upgrade to 5.1.
