go to specific step in workflow

I have a workflow that's going to involve 3 employees. Usually employee 1 will submit the workflow, then it'll be routed to employee 2, who will approve it and send it to employee 3 to complete.

What I'm trying to figure out how to do is set up the logic so that if employee 2 submits it, it goes to employee 3. I can't seem to get it to work.

If you mean, regardless of Employee 1 decision, go to Employee 2, here it is.

Hi Evan,

How did you set up the task to employee 3?

I would suggest you create a User task for employee 2 which will be "first approver"   with a reject and approve action

Depending on what happens to when you Reject you will map to your requirements and from there for the Approve action add another User task which will then be assigned to employee 3 who will to do final approval.

Please let me know if you further explanation.

Kind regards

Themba

Can we see what you've designed so far? I'm assuming you have two activities here, one for Employee 2 to approve it and that is connected to one for Employee 3 to complete it. Where is it going wrong when you try it out?
