It’s true you cannot deploy 5.2 on 5.3. You will have to first update/ upgrade the previous server to 5.3, or install K2 Five 5.2 on the new server, deploy your 5.2 package and upgrade to 5.3. to ensure consistent package and deployment behavior between K2 environments is to align your K2 product version across the environments. This includes major version as well as fix packs (FPs) and cumulative updates (CUs).
