Hi all,

we are working on a project, we support some information such as name and password to enter the application that we made.

we found that there was an SMO called AD users who seemed to have some information such as countries, name, email but did not have a password.

is there a way to get a pre-existing password that we use to log in to k2 designer?

Thanks in advance

Hi Jensmin,

1) What is the reason for trying to do this?

For the AD User SMO, K2 does not store the password for an AD user, we retrieve the information from AD about the user, but we do not retrieve the password.

If you need further assistance, please log a K2 support ticket:

Hope this helps

Hi Gareth,

Thanks for your answer,

can you give me a link/tutorial to make a login using a username and password from the server, not from the smartobject that we created manually?

Thanks in advance,

Hi Jensmin,

I am not sure what you are trying to achieve within K2.

Are you trying to create a new AD user to login into K2 with?

Hi Gareth,

thank you for your response,

no, I'm not trying to create a new AD user to login into k2, but to make login form to my project using AD User

I want to create a login form on my project using AD Users that are available on the server. is this possible to do?

or create a smartobject that contains the username and password fields?

Hi jensmin,

It sounds like the Dynamic Active Directory Service broker is what you probably will need for your scenario.
