Hello,

We are using strict validation in autocomplete control. Whenever something is added to this field, it shows a standard message: "Item cannot resolve".

Can we change this message?

Thank you.

Hello  @cmp,

It seems like Auto-Complete control does not use strict validation and allows you to insert a value that not exist from the list of available values.

I am not sure as to what version you are on but if you are using K2 Five try applying FixPack 1. for more information follow this KB article: https://help.k2.com/kb002109

If your are on K2 4.7 you can apply FixPack 14. more info on: https://help.k2.com/kb002089

I hope this works helps you out.

Thank you BesM.

We have version 5.3 installed.

We followed the steps in this article: https://help.k2.com/kb002109

Before, the message "Item cannot resolve" was not seen. We want to change this message.

Hi,

I'm not sure if there is an out-of-the box way to do update tooltip pointer. Perhaps, you can take a look at the RT.SourceCode.Forms.Controls.Web.ControlPack.ListControls.js under K2 smartforms RuntimeContentJs folder. I search the installed directory and cam see several places with the 'item cannot resolve.' reference. Other option is using javascript.
