How do I populate City (Text field) and State (drop-down control) when ZipCode (text field) is entered?

Hi,

Is this an Item view? I believe it should be possible with a couple actions in the your rule, see video link: http://www.screencast.com/t/xUiYzQEzbU

I'm using K2 Five, but it should work with oher K2 versions.

I was able to see this video. Maybe I am missing something here, but when you click the button how are you populating City and State? Is there a database or API for zip code?

I'm so excited!  I get to post a reply to someone else's question for a change!

I did this for a solution in my business area.  I don't know if it's perfect...but it works.

I found an Excel file on this site:

I uploaded it into my database.  I believe that there was probably some cleanup that I needed to do.  Once it was live as a data source, though, I just set up some simple business rules that when the zipcode field is changed, it goes out to the data source and does a list method and pass in the zip and return the city, state respectively.
