Its hard to know exactly what went wrong in your work listitem in Share Point web part without knowing much details. Please elaborate more so that we can understand what exactly you are trying to do or steps you followed. BTW do you use List Item ID is auto generated or is it a primary key ? Hard to understand with your limited description.
